I know you said you'd get pics, but I'm just reminding you, just in case Cheers, Eude

I would give Newtone Strings a go. They will happily make you a taper wound or even exposed core set to your liking. Their Nickel Hex Core strings are like a slightly more edgy DR SunBeam. They're made in the UK, last ages and are way cheaper than they should be! Lovely bass by the way. I think I had a copy of Guitarist featuring the review too!
  4. I found that you need to really mean it when you engage the expression pedal, press hard on the top of it, and it should work. I was using mine sat down for the first two times I used it and thought mine wasn't working too, standing over it and pressing a little harder made it engage just fine. Hope the above helps!
  5. OK, now that is damn tidy! Congratulations dude!
  6. Thank you buddy! That's a great demo, and the pedal seems to retain a proper low end throughout, something that a lot of filters fall short on. Is it too late to add it to my Xmas List?...
  7. He played a part in me getting my Monza too, which still knocks my socks off every time I use it, as he tried one at a BassBash a little while back, the one when he convinced you to buy that Trace amp. You think, at the very least he would chip in!
  8. Is it just me, or for an occasional user at least, are interfaces not one of the most frustrating pieces of kit available?! It's never ever just a case or plugging in and going.
  9. That would be bloody marvellous!
  10. Very nice! I see you have the Tron III clone? How's that? I'm still in search for a right envelope filter, that won't break the bank, and plays nicely with active basses. I REALLY like the sound of the Aguilar Filter Twin, but it's too spendy, and obviously, all the decent proper Mu Tron stuff is hard to find. How does Tron III perform?
  11. I use a Nux Mighty Plug most of the time, but when I need a bit more, without making more noise, I have my Boss ME-90B multi effects, or, when using my BIG board, I popped a Mooer Audiofile on there, which has a headphone amp and a cab sim, which lets me use the whole board without making too much noise.
  12. Stunning
  13. Sweet
  14. I think that looks rather tasty without the guard!
  15. Can't believe this is still here! This is one of the nicest sounding fretless basses I've ever heard. The asking of £1000 is likely a 3rd of what it would cost to buy this new now. If I was still playing big basses, I'd have to jump at this. Someone please buy this, treat yourself!
  16. Happy to help, and glad to hear your son picked the right side
  17. I would go for the Warwick. If you slap, you'll appreciate having a tweeter, and it's the only combo that has one. The Warwick BC80 also has the largest speaker and the highest output. Although all your options will be much better quality than your SubZero combo, only the Warwick will give you a lot more volume too.
  18. Absolutely stunning matey. I'll be it's amazing!
  19. I sold Paddy a Bass Big Muff. An absolute pleasure to deal with, great communication, and a lovely guy to boot. Thank you dude! Eude
