  1. Hey Stew, nice set up! Have you been able to comapre the Trace 1x10s with Barefaced One10s?
  2. That's a bit of a peach @AndyTravis Hope you have a lot of fun with it! A girl I met in first year of Uni, over from Oregon on an exchange reached out to me a year or so back about a similar bass. She'd had a long long term waster of a boyfriend who she'd managed to get rid of, eventually, and he'd left a bass behind which she'd forgotten about and he claimed at the time he didn't want it back. It had been years, so she asked me what it could be worth. It was exactly the same as your new acquisition and in mint condition. She sold it for a pretty penny. Anyway, nice aside. Enjoy the bass!
  3. The Waza Craft flavour on might get you a littl closer...
  4. I haven't I'm afraid, but I have tried a few pre Gnome Warwick amps and always felt they offered more than they were ever given credit for. Honest solid bits of kit.
  5. What about the Warwick Gnome iPro 600? By all accounts it's fairly flat response, 600w and can be found for about £350. I don't think it's any bigger than a MarkBass LittleMark too, likely a bit smaller.
  6. Lovely set up(s). That Peavey head! I used to have a Mark VI with two Black Widow loaded 4x10s. That could knock down walls, so so loud and ballsy. Miss the sound, but my back is very happy with the advent of class D amps and Neo cabs...
  7. I can't quite get enough of this headstock. So very very cool. Love the way the fingerboard overruns the 1st fret and acts as a string guide, and the knobs are just mad! Lovely stuff dude.
  8. I'm lucky enough to own a very similar bass, albeit in 6 string flavour. This is an absolute bargain for an incredible instrument from one of the best. Good luck with the sale! Eude
  9. I wonder if the B2 Four keeps up with it?
  10. London has the additional confusion of London and Greater London too.

    Le Fay Capone

You get what you pay for with most custom basses. Having seen what these guys put in to the design and construction of their basses, they're definitely worth 7 times a production line assembled Fender. I know a lot of folks are more than happy to play a Fender, but I'm very glad folks like Le Fay are around. Just my 2p. Eude
  12. Not sure how I managed to post the same message 3 times, but there they all are!
  13. I agree, I really like the sounds on there, a seriosuly broad spectrum too! I do like the fact they do a nicely shaped 1x12 too, for some reason that shape of box really appeals to me. Eude

  16. Ooooooffft, that does look marvelous!
  17. Good to know. I have an EHX Bass Clone and I keep pining for something a bit better. It's OK, but can be hit and miss and the useable range for what I use it for, is a bit limited.
  18. I wonder how these will compare with the Barefaced One10?
  19. You might be right. It weighs nearly the same as the cabs combined!
