You spend your whole life waiting to go to a festival...

Hope that's a positive remembrance not a sigh of pity! Only downside is we're on at the exact same time as one Bob Dylan. -

...And then you get to go to two in a row and play at them! Awesome. My new(ish) band Archie Wah Wahs are playing at hop farm (bread and roses stage, 9pm) in paddock wood and lounge on the farm in canterbury (you say they play stage, 1pm). Hoorah! -

Got to crank it at rehearsal last night.. well, 10 o'clock.. Wow, what a beautiful noise it makes. Fills the bottom end completely and compliments the drums perfectly. Get a really phat overdrive if I dig in which compliments the dynamic in my technique rather than being set to the gain. Plus I can just about heave the cab into my car without assistance.. Drummer was amazed that anything could be heavier than his hardware case bless him

Bought my new best possession Orange PA120 from Steve a month or two back, great comms - I managed to meet up with him while he was on tour which surely saved on the ol' postage of this beast. It now has an OBC410 to companion it and can't wait to use it above 8 o'clock at a gig sometime soon!

Was it commented on that you were too quiet? You might find that the speakers project the bass beyond you (especially if they're on the floor) and so will sound quiet on stage but being loud enough out the front. I have this issue with my Markbass combo, it projects really well, just have to learn not to overdo it and get too loud!
Looks good, although i wouldn't technically call it a "Bass amp", i should imagine it probably does the job quite well.
Yeah it sounds great though; mega bassy, warm and fat! Will look to get some more gain with the valves I replace it with though. I was toying with the idea of getting Matamp to build me two 1x12" cabs and using it as a PA but the cab turned up on ebay and when no one swooped I did a bit of behind-the counter bargaining! Well chuffed.

Phew, one sweltering drive later and I now have a groovy Orange rig... Couldn't be happier!! Have to say though I forgot how heavy bass amps can be having got accustomed to my Markbass cmd121h, that cab is a lump! Next month it'll be getting a service/revalving but for now I'm just happy to be able to hear it at last.

Bought a speaker cable from the fella, great product, price, comms and delivery. Top notch.

Thanks guys - would just like to add (and maybe the admins can sort this out?) that I already have two other feedback threads here and here!

Can't decide if I really need this pedal (in fact I know I don't but since I only bought it a month or so ago here on BC I'm reluctant to give it such a quick turnaround having only used it a couple of times!) No box but the pedal itself is in excellent condition. Initially I'm only looking for interesting trades for things like gold hardware (especially fender style tuners and precision pickup covers), effects and precision pickups but hit me with anything non-bass/amp related (I'm sorted for that gubbins right now!) Feel free to PM me with any questions/offers you might have. I'll probably get some pics up soon too when I can be bothered but as this is a feeler I'll just gauge the interest first!

You're always learning I've been playing now for 7 years, 5 of which in bands. I rarely spend time learning new songs, just practising technique. i've been working on building up the use of my right hand ring finger by doing sixteenths!
Oh. I dunno. Kent Armstrong are a good make though so I imagine they'd be pukka! Pretty sure bridge is bigger but I'll check when I get in for you...
Yes they are different sizes, with model numbers JBV-1F and JBV-1R. I'd consider trades for any decent P style pickups. -
Bought my sansamp programmable BDDI, paid cash, what can I say? Painless transaction! Hope you enjoy it. Theo
Are the pickups fully potted ? Are they in black covers or are they one unit ? I assume they're different sizes for neck and bridge ?
No pots included, just what you see on the picture! (you can see the picture right?) In black covers. Size wise I think they are different but I'll have to check when I get home. I'm not very clued up on jazz pickups I'm afraid! It's the bridge that's meant to be bigger but is it the length or the depth that is?
