1. Hehe, well I'm just Theo but was named after a great uncle Theobald. We're just so versatile! Is the Westone still available? What TLC would it need precisely?
2. Any chance of some better pics of the upright?
3. Hey cool; someone else named theo! I've never physically met anyone in my 23 years on this planet with my name. We'll have to meet up
4. Bought a gig bag from him, if the transaction was quick the dispatch was lightning! Highly recommended =]
5.
The Beatle basses look like they're nicely done ... not so sure about these "pucker" (folding ?) basses with the hinge in the middle though ... have my doubts about how solid the connection is between the hinged parts. 6. I really liked the EHX black finger,. especially the valve-ness! It worked better on guitar however (and was quite chunky) so I sold it on to my Guitard at the time.

harsh basses

A guitar? Rickenbackers have a lot of high end IMO.
9.
Pictures, location, quality, what kind of difference do the pups have, are the originals still available? Reason for trade?
What he said.
10. EHX Bass Micro Synth sold pending payment!
11. Yeah I grabbed myself a Gotoh 203 bridge from ebay yesterday for about £18 shipped from America!! Bargain.
12.
I've got this HB that I'm really not playing at the moment, and some car repairs are coming up and I think I could do with moving this bass on. I'm going to link to the original topic for pictures: CLICKY This is actually a great bass. I really enjoying playing it and if I could keep it I would, but as I mentioned I need to sort out my car. It's in need of a new set of strings, and perhaps a bit of a clean, but other than this and the couple of other bits mentioned in the original topic, it's a cracking bass. Doesn't feel too big, cracking B string (only a 34" scale), it's got a real nice 'something' in the tone that I love and think it would sound even better with a new set of strings. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. £75 collected only (I'm based up in Wigan). Karl
I have a 5 string version of this which I defretted but it sounds AWESOME for such a cheap instrument. I used one in my first ever band and you can hear soundclips here played through a Trace Elliot combo. I never did get a better recorded tone and it was fine for gigs; nice and powerful! In fact I don't know why I ever stopped using it long enough to consider defretting it.. D'oh! So yeah, £75 is a bargain price for this!
13. These pedals haven't quite had a bid placed on them on eBay yet, so there's still time for a BCer to grab 'em!

15. What about thick creamy fuzz pedals? I'm not talking about the blowtorch either, bloody things!
16.
Well you could go that way if you want, here are a few links to parts dealers: http://www.axesrus.com/AxePlatesBass.html http://www.bassguitarpartsdirect.co.uk/sho...ss+Guitar+Parts http://angela.com/guitarparts.aspx
Cheers
17. What about if I choose to source all the parts individually, what would people recommend for value?
18. As the title & subtitle say? What are some quality and value items? Google wasn't cooperating!
19. Nice one! I'm really interested in a fretless studio 4 to compliment my custom 5!
20. Yeah that's probably why they're selling so cheaply on eBay, no one knows about them! 'Tis a shame - I couldn't imagine letting this go for what I paid for it!
