1. Get your trade offers in people - I have cash offers pending, but really looking for a trade to appease my curiosity! Reverbs, delay, chorusey type effects all considered. No distortion though please! Thanks.
  2. My band have joined; it's worth doing for the impartial reviews alone. It seems anything you get from the site is a bonus. It's exposure.

Songs have been remastered and sound much better.
  4.
This is an old Japanese boss pedal that is in very good condition usual scratches and such. It has various modes including Gate (Great for those snare drum sounds), Hall, Room and Delay. The delay is very similar to a DD-3 only warmer and more analog in feel closer to the DD-2 and DM-3 sort of sounds I don't have the box for it. I will post pics tonight but I'm after £65 for this. Cheers
Trades?
I'm sure better mixing etc would really bring out your sound, although it sounds great already! I'd imagine you'd put on a great live show, though I'll have to keep on imagining, until I get my drivers license that is!
Haha and even then it's a bit of a drive from wales! Thanks very much, really glad you connect with it; that's the idea anyway. We've been told that our live sound is really quite big for a 3 piece, though I've never heard it from in front of stage (obviously!) If you give me your email I can send you another original (sadly not yet recorded) song we played at our first ever gig recorded through a mini recording thingie (excuse the vagueness).
  6.
small world, the guitarist in my band, was the bassist in shameful behaviour. I went to a few of their gigs and reconized the tracks.
Aha! Jolly good, I don't think they've been changed for years. you might be interested to hear my current band: http://www.myspace.com/aliquotflow we've just recorded 3 new songs. It's a far departure from gummy babies for sure! What band are you in?
  7.
Still do it.... I was like you.all Originals first, you cant learn what you dont know to begin with...Coverswork will teach you that....I hope theres some Chic in the set,Bernard Edwards IS the man. PLUS ITS CASH!.....AND HE ASKED YOU!!!! Better than flipping burgers on a saturday daytime!
my first band was a mix of covers and heavy rock originals. i was 17 at the time and was flung into it all a bit - i had to learn three 45 minute sets in two weeks, and before that I only knew 2 all the way through, and we weren't even playing them! baptism of fire is good. i feel ive got a really good idea of how bands work now. i still play in a covers band whilst im working on the originals.
I have to say, I really like your first three tracks, haven't listened to the rest yet. Initially the songs sounded a bit cluttered, though not overly! I think this adds to your sound though, it's a good sound, i definitely like it! Oh wow, I just heard Set the Scene, amazing song!
Thanks very much! Yeah we aren't completely happy. Someone has commented that it sounds like Phil Spector has had his way with them, lol. We wanted them to sound organic but unfortunately there is a lot of bleed through and the mastering hasn't brought out the mix to its full potential. We're hoping to get the tracks (all of them) remastered somewhere else.
  9.
Hi Theo, Once i get my next paycheck i might just snap this up. I listened to the myspace tracks, sound very familiar, do you know mark simpson?
Yes I was the bassist in his band when it was called gummy babies. Haven't seen him for ages though, I hear he has a new band called shameful bahaviour.
  10.
If there's any interest: You can hear the tone shaping 'color' feature on these tracks: http://www.myspace.com/ukunderthethumb And the distortion on these: http://www.myspace.com/gummybabies forgive the crapness of the music in both cases!! Hehe.
Still after an interesting trade prospect! cash displacement is fine too (from your end!) I'll give this another week then I'll start considering cash offers more seriously.
  11.
Sorry Theo .... I don't think the pedal would get any use from me. Pm's replied to ... I think it's spoken for :-)
Fair enough! =]
  12.
The Musicman Bongo was 'styled' by BMW's styling team led by Chris Bangle. The body contouring follows the 'flame-surfacing' approach on the current 'controversially' styled BMWs.
It was actually styled by the people who designed the innards of the mini, not BMW. I think a bongo which incorporated these colours would be wicked sweet:

  14. That's stoopid re. the pickups. Looks pretty damn funky though, if only it wasn't pink.
  15.
Yes, it's cheeky (probably highly illegal or something) but it worked because I'm listening now. I'll save the review for your slicethepie entries
Lol screw that; don't be a stranger, let me know what you think

    Aliquot Flow

Our myspace! We've spent two days in the studio this weekend and have come out with three brand new tracks which I personally am really proud of; we've got a good balance of new sounds and the production aspect of a wicked analoguey 60s/70s 4 track vibe (except we used all 16 on some tracks. Our old songs have all been remastered to match too and are up for free download as before. What does everyone think of "Fiction Undiscovered" as an EP title including all these tracks (not in this order) plus an extra interlude? I (don't) apologize for the length of 'Do this Well' - It's our Freebird, if you like =] In terms of bass this is just my Stingray (boosted mids/treble in On The Outside and Do This Well, boosted bass on Between Us; other three tracks used a Harley Benton 5 string acoustic which I've now sold) into my Mark Bass CMD 121H with 12o'c bass & treble, boosted low mids and scooped high mids. VLE just less than halfway, VPF ALL THE WAY UP!! (just goes to show these filters are awesome throughout their effectual range!) Ideas for genre descriptions would be wicked too; we don't like to pigeonhole ourselves! Feedback wholly appreciated and heartily encouraged!! Thanks Theo.
  20.
great price!!
Trade with my mxr m80? =]
  21. Sorry guys I've been really busy the past couple of days in the studio - I'll be posting up what we've done in a little while... but first I'll reply to ya!
  22. Still open to offers! Looking for some interesting trades pedal or cab wise!!
