1. Willing to take offers on this, especially if you wanna collect it! Will probably go on ebay in a week's time!
2. Bump - sorry for lack of decent pictures but I've been mega busy recently. If someone could take this off my hands it'd be a marvel...
3. James, he don't know, but I can't think it'd be anything else. I'll try and find my GF's camera and take some decent shots...
4. Think so, let me just ask James if he knows for sure...
5. Last push before feebay bump, also with a price drop! £200 + P&P (probs around £15)
6. Might help if you put what you're selling in the thread topic..
7. Ebay beckons.. make me an offer anyone? I thought jazzes were easy to sell!
8. Cheers James! Loadsa views, no interest type of bump, this...
9. Check them out and please leave feedback - these are not the final mixes but are near enough. Used my Fernandes PJ thru Orange rig as listed below!
10. Cor blimey this place moves quickly these days. In order to reflect that I'm willing to consider near offers for this bass, and also envelope filters/auto wahs in p/x...
11. I traded this instrument with BCer Moos3h about 3 months ago. Since then I have attached a black pickguard, chrome neck pickup cover and a new nut as well as giving the frets a good going over with some emery cloth & masking tape. This has eliminated fret buzz and made the bass a whole lot more playable than when I received it but I expect it will still need a refret/new neck in the not too distant future. Used it for the first time at live volume at rehearsal last night and through my Mark Bass combo it sounded absolutely lush. I knew long before that I would sell it however, as I had finally come to the conclusion that I don't get along with jazzes. Having given Moos3h first refusal (as he asked for but with no response, sadly) I am putting this up for sale. It has clearly been loved and often played, as the worn frets will tell you, and is still a really tight & responsive instrument with a sweet jazz tone. It's quite a looker too, and at £250 (the same price as Moos3h was asking, prior to all the odds and ends I've added/improved) is an excellent bass for the money which I'd keep if I had any desire to own a jazz! Collection is preferred but will post at buyer's expense, probably using the royal mail (it's just easier), at an estimated cost of £15. I can include a tidy Kinsman hard case for £25 if you'd like but otherwise it will be well packaged in bubble wrap, newspaper & box. Feel free to contact me with any enquiries. Not really looking for anything trades-wise but could be tempted with a part-exchange for a decent synth pedal (i.e. not Boss ). 12. Wow, great price!
13.
There is no protection from jazz.
14. So tempting but as a non-guitarist I already have two 6 stringers too many!
15. Addicted to Love is, imo, horrendous.
16. I was initially advertising it on here also for £80 + p&p but no interest sadly, hence eBay. If you spend the time to learn its intricacies it's a very powerful tool indeed!
17. Good price for the Headrush E2. Sold mine for almost £20 more than that on eBay t'other week.
18. Is there a way, and I'm thinking ideally for lessons here, that I could run two basses through the same amp? Would it involve some kind of A/B/Y box or is there an even easier way? Cheers in advance!
19.
Nice to see it is a BIN...
Oh very good!
20. I had been tinkering around with my Westbury Track 2 (first ever bass given to me by my mum), shielding the cavity, WD40'ing the pots, replacing the knackered old nut and restringing it with flats. Used it for a gig last night for the first time in a couple of years and it felt just like coming home, I was in love with playing all over again. I was considering starting a thread just to announce this to the world but this one'll do - I'll never sell it. Fact
21. There are some nice looking new ones fairly cheap on ioffer.com right now...
22. +1 to the remarks about changing the strings. Night & day!!
23. I have a set of black beauties that I've been gigging solidly for 9 months now. Still sound as fresh as new. Best strings I've ever used!
