1. 4 days left and in order to avoid final value fee and postage I would be willing to take £250 + whatever p&p would cost to ensure this goes to a BCer!!
2. A lot of good stuff here, and one that keeps cropping up is one I've only just started to achieve: It's only recently that I've learned not to play for myself but for the song and, foremost, the audience. I was getting nowhere fast widdling up and down the fretboard like a guitard and since I've taken a step back I've put the effort in and have subsequently been able to start singing and playing at once - a skill I'd never have learned previously.
3. +1 for Hey Joe, first song I ever played live!
4. I hope I never have to play this song again. Anything else by Free, sure. Just not this! Please not this!!
5.
I notice he manages to get the words "wool" and "mammoth" in his description as well. FWIW I don't have a problem with people cloning other pedals, but I feel it's a bit naughty attempting to flog your pedal off someone else's reputation.
Have to admit he's done it rather cleverly though!
6. I was also keen on the matamp 2x12 to pair with my '72 pa120 head (bought from tayste) but found an obc410 at a knock-down price an hour's drive away on ebay!
7. I dunno it's just the name of the bass. They do a stiletto custom and a stiletto studio. Here's their website with the specs: http://www.schecterguitars.com/Products/Ba...o-Custom-5.aspx
8.
been watching this
Well if you're interested I'd take £275 posted within the UK via Basschat.co.uk, otherwise take your chances with a bid as I've relisted as an auction Clicky.

10. I bought his ashdown after eight combo. Hassle-free, good comms and a lovely chap to boot. Theo.
11. One day left bump!
12. Cool. It's a nice sounding amp when it works!
13. These are all good!
14. Sorry to somewhat derail the thread but this reminded me that I'd stumbled across this on youtube earlier and I'm certain his G string is slightly flat... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjkFJkbm3vA Am I hearing things or is it just wishful thinking that the man is just a mere mortal?
15. For me it was my uncle's advice that I should try and use my fretting hand's little finger as much as possible and practise extending it. Crucial!
16. I'm tempted to own another m80, sold it in favour of the programmable sansamp which I could never get on with! Great pedals, the colour switch (providing it does still work) is a wicked piece of tonal weaponry! Best of luck with the sale.
17. Cor that's a looker!
18. Hmm, went for the start price. Wish I'd had the money!
19. Waited very patiently for me to sort my act out and send him the Harley Benton bass I had sold him. Great comms throughout! Deal in confidence folks. Theo.
20. Deal done; enjoy your tinkering!
21. Selling this for a friend who bought it with the intention of learning (I'll include a guitar lessons book & CD) but has hardly picked it up. It has been played for no more than 30 minutes. It comes with a padded hardcase that shows signs of a little wear - one of the 3 hinges has broken but it still functions perfectly well. Here's some blurb from their website: The Tanglewood Nashville TF-8 concert size folk shape acoustic This model from the Tanglewood Nashville Series of acoustic guitars has recently been voted the USA's top Folk Guitar. The Nashville TF-8 is smaller and easier to handle than a Dreadnaught, but with no loss of tone. The Spruce top and African Mahogany body give this guitar an excellent sound with a rich tone and sharp treble response. This guitar outperforms most in its price range, it even compared with some Taylors and Martins. Overall this guitar is truly astonishing value for money. Spruce top Mahogany back and sides Multiple bound body Slim fast action neck Die-cast machine heads Compensating saddle It's a really nice instrument in great condition, as new as I've mentioned (it still has the plastic cover on the pickguard and the tag attached to the headstock!) I feel £150 is a very fair price for this.
22. You could still swoop on this, still has 5 days to run on eBay. I'd really like cash on collection and could be willing to take near offers to avoid the hassle of postage!
23. This is still available... I'd really rather not post it...
24. Hehe, sorry to the other guys who showed their interest but I wanna do this with minimum hassle. I do have a defunct practise amp in my garden that's been collecting rain for a week though if anyone's interested??
