1. Works for me, the earlier the better! I will be in from 4. Will pm my address...
2. If you're willing to collect then yes. When are you able to? I'm in all evening but out tomorrow night.
3.
I had one of these years ago. Cracking little amp.
Don't say that lol
4. Collection from where?
5. Sure you won't post?
6. I'll take the thumbrest! PM'd
7. It's with a slight pang that I'm doing this as it was my first ever amp but it's just taking up space and I don't have the know-how or inclination to get it sorted. Ideally for someone who is looking to have a tinker. Before it overheats (I think that's what's happening) and starts farting everywhere and cutting out it sounds great! I'll leave this up for a month or so and then it's going to the tip.
8. Linkage. However if a BCer were to offer £275 I would cancel the listing Theo.
9. Now on eBay!
10. Just a couple of days left on this stuff...
11. Bit of interest but nothing firm yet. Will be looking to put this on eBay early next week so don't miss your chance to guarantee an excellent price for this bass!
12.
Great basses and as an owner of one I don't see why the prices shouldn't have gone up a bit by now. For a fantastically made 70's american made bass I don't think £500+ is unreasonable at all. Only paid £330ish for mine three years ago Shipped it over from the states.
Maybe I'm just bitter because I can't afford one
13. I'd love one and am watching this but I expect that the final price will be a lot more than they're actually worth. I think £549 is still a bit steep. One sold for £820 a few months ago!
14. No worries For clarity it's the grey label version that's not true bypass.
15. Traded my OLP Stingray with James for his Brandoni Jazz. Excellent communications throughout!
16. It is.

18. Any recommendations?? Thanks..
19. I'll take £275 for a quick sale...
20. Bumpitude. Feel free to make me an offer!
21.
OK so I've got a Spector Euro LX4, a custom shop Warwick Streamer Stage 1 and an Aria SB1000 - how can I persuade my wife that I NEED to buy this as well?
Just show her the pictures. Gorgeous bass...
22.
... if anybody's managed to read through all this, I hope you understand my rationale and annoyance. I'm sure a lot of BC'ers will have suffered a lot worse both in terms of monetary loss and frustration. But I just felt the need to say something.....
No you're quite justified, this is what makes Basschat unique among any internet collective I can think of. We're all in it together!
23. I hadn't even started playing at 15. You'll be fine mate, keep at it and, as someone else here said, gigging and jamming as often as possible will earn you so much invaluable experience.
24. If I sell my Schecter I'm all over this like a wet flannel...
25. This: HBBDJDHSHIQCccqfff I recorded with it while it was still fretted and it sounded like this: First Band I defretted it and didn't bother filling the gaps; it still plays but would benefit from someone taking some wood filler to it and perhaps giving it an epoxy coat if they were feeling generous! It's a well made bass that sounds pretty good, could do with someone having a quick clean up of the electrics. Yours for £50, posted £60 (but without a bag) or trades for a small practice combo.
