Built for me by Martin Peterson of Sei/The Gallery fame. This bass has a 35" scale 1 piece flamed 24 fret maple neck with maple fingerboard. Slim profile neck with 19mm spacing. Red side dot L.E.D's activated by switch powered by 9v battery. Swamp ash body finished with a custom (sierra?) red finish over an ash body. Pick-ups are Bartolini with a D-Audio pre amp.     [center]I’m the second owner of this bass. The original owner installed the OBL jazz bass pick up to give it more punch. Rosewood fingerboard on a rock maple neck. Bass is a decent weight so not sure what wood the body is made of. Original tuners and precision pick-ups but have replaced the stock bridge for a badass III. Still have the original. Currently strung with flatwounds. Not played much by the original owner or myself. A few knocks but in very good condition for age. No case but I’m sure I can rustle up a gig bag.     Experienced bass player looking for funk, soul and blues projects...ideally looking for cover and function bands...but in any case, looking for working, gigging bands.     1978 Fender Precision for sale...great condition for a bass over 30 years old. Comes with a rosewood fingerboard and an extra jazz bass bridge pickup (fitted by the previous owner) for extra versatility of tones. Bass is a available for viewing in West London so call me for a time to come and have a look. Nice bass, sad to see it go. Just don't have the time to play the beauty. Looking for £850 but may be open to offers. Got a Badass 2 bridge that I'll included with the sale. No gig bag, may be able to locate one for the seriously interested.     Your project sounds interesting but I may be a little too 'west' for you - I'm based near Heathrow but have a car. Have played in a few power trios, you can check out some blues playing on my myspace (yeap myspace!) http://www.myspace.com/bassdelafunk. My pref for blues based music is a jazz or p bass which I've just purchased a '78. I use a Mesa Boogie 400+ through old hartke cabs.
