I'm looking to sell my USA Standard Jazz or trade it. It's a fantastic bass, I've owned it since new in 2010 (it's made in 2009). I'm the first owner, got it from Rich Tone in Sheffield (still have the receipt). I liked it so much that I bought another, and now feel that I'd like a little more variety. It's olympic white, has a red tort guard and a rosewood board (classic look). Comes with the original SKB case which is in pretty good nick (the odd scuff, but nothing that won't clean off, I'll probably do that). It also comes with all the original case candy, tags etc. The bass itself is in great condition, a bit of swirling on the scratchplate as you'd expect of a bass that's been played. Nothing else to note other than a tiny little knock on the side of the body (not visible from the front) smaller than a pea which doesn't break through the finish, just a slight indent. Apart from that it's mint! So, what I'd like is a P bass. I'm not really in a position to add cash to a deal at the moment, nor do I want to "downgrade" so something of equivalent value would be my ideal trade. A simple USA Standard P bass would be great. I'm not really massively keen on weird and/or wonderful finishes, I'd really rather it was just sunburst, black or white. Maple boards preferred but I'll consider rosewood too. But let me know what you've got, you never know. The other basses I'd consider would be more modern styled Jazz basses with maple boards... something like a Sandberg JM or a Lakland DJ... 4 strings is a must! EDIT: I'll take £700 cash for this for a limited time (while the bass I want is still available).
Put some photos up for us to drool over
Photos will be coming up tomorrow, all being well.
Hi Ziphoblat Sounds exactly what I'm looking for, but I was hoping to trade this: http://basschat.co.u...sion-for-trade/ I'm not too far from Leeds though...
Thanks for the interest, unfortunately I'm not really after a P-bass at the moment, been down that road enough already, they just don't work for me. Cheers.

I don't have any pictures right now, but I'll get some up. Olympic White/Rosewood/Red tort USA Standard Jazz, made in 2008 bought new in 2010 by myself, great player, great condition. Has one small ding to the finish (that doesn't go through) on the side of the body which is barely visible and hidden from the front. Otherwise, top condition. Comes with all the case candy and the standard SKB hardcase. Based in Leeds. I'm looking for an EBMM Big Al bass, my preference would be for the three single coil pick-up configuration, and a maple board, but let me know what you've got. I'm willing to put some cash on the table too for the right bass. Cheers.
Whereabouts are you and how much does this weigh/ what will it cost to post?
I'd hazard a guess around 7-8 lbs, but it could be a touch more/less, I don't have anything to weigh it with unfortunately. I'll post for £10 tracked. It may come to a bit more than that but I'll sub the rest. I'm in Leeds.

Up for sale is a Novation KS Rack Synthesiser. Not quite perfect condition, but fully functional. I originally purchased this upon the departure of my bands rhythm guitarist a couple of years ago in an experimental phase to try and thicken up our sound a bit without having to get a new guy in - in the end, a Big Muff did that trick for us. This synth is better for the more "unnatural" sounds - it won't emulate a piano or anything particularly well, but if you want a nice thick synth pad/bass/lead, it'll do a stellar job of it. I can e-mail you the full manual in PDF format, as the physical manual for this was in shoddy condition when I received it and has since been lost. Here's is a demo of the sort of sounds you can get out of it: There are a couple of scratches on the metal surface, and a white mark, looks like it might have had a sticker on it at one point or something (I'm sure if it bothered you enough you could get rid of it). Outside of the small purely cosmetic things, it's also missing two of the knobs, but most of the controls on it use exactly the same knob and they come on and off quite easily (which is probably how it lost two along the way) so you can just do what I did, and take the knobs off of two of the controls you rarely use (there'll probably be some as it has quite a lot) and put them on. They're not hard to adjust without the knob anyway. I paid just shy of £200 for this a couple of years ago, and the condition hasn't changed much since... I believe they retailed for a fair amount. How's about £135 + postage ONO, priced for a quick sale? I'll throw in a power cable and a midi cable, and it'll be well packed. I'd also be interested in trades, I'm currently after a rackmounted tuner and compressor - I'm particularly interested in the Korg DTR series and the DBX 266XL, but I'm open to offers - let me know what you've got. Edited for photos & possible trades.

Does the 55-01 come with a case? Also, without meaning to sound rude, am I missing something? The retail price for a new 55-01 at the moment, after a quick search, appears to be cheaper than this second-hand one you have listed here... I'm not well-informed on Laklands, and was just wondering if there was something I wasn't aware of.
