1. One Upton on it's way to Rabbie I'll probably hang on to the other as it sounds great on my big Hungarian bass I've sorted my friend out with an Aptflex, he preferred it to the Bassmax Another happy Basschat ending
2. Hi Tommy, I've found the two part sets both A, D & G one set nearly new condition, hardly any play time the other set are good but there's some fraying to the silks p.m. your email and I'll send some pics if you like
3. I've one which needs thinning and another which fits a couple of my bridges. They're quite easy to sand down, or you can widen the slot.
4. Bumpy Edit Also trade for Underwood or Shadow twin paddle
5. I've got 2 uptons One is thicker than, and the other thinner than a Bassmax Both could be modified to fit any size slot
6. Great work Geoff! Have forwarded link to my good friend Des who has just bought the 1/2 pinter from me. Even and old dog like me can learn some new tricks watching these vids.
7. I think I've got a couple of part sets, A , D & G's I'll have a look when I get chance
8. That's very kind Clarky but it's not urgent. My mate is buying the 1/2 pint bass, which sounds really nice with a Bassmax, but he's not got any gigs lined up for it yet. I could fit the Upton but it's already cut for the Bassmax. Thanks anyway
9. I'm looking for a Bassmax for a friend. I've somehow ended up with 2 Upton Rev Solos so I can swap an Upton for a Bassmax if anyone's up for it.

14. A good friend of mine (and great bassist) called round this morning and was really impressed with the Antoni. He loves the look, the sound and the skinny neck, oh and the price. So he's having it. Just need to find him a pickup, if anyone has a spare Bassmax, Underwood or similar let me know
15. Clamps can easily be made from threaded rod, nuts, washers and some scraps of wood, you'd only need a couple for that C bout Hide glue isn't expensive
16. Do you need the low B string? I'd think about converting it to four strings while you're messing with bridges and nuts
17. Yes it's still available Sorry, the pickup is off my other bass which I need to keep, I was just experimenting with it.
18. Heads up for sale or trade thinking of letting this go as I have too many other things to do before I can spare the time to modify the neck. It does sound good and is great is fun to play though, so I'm not bothered if it doesn't sell.
19. Feeler - sell or poss trade for Roadworn Jazz, NS EUB or something nice I bought this new Antoni a couple of weeks ago to experiment with as an alternative to an EUB, I wanted to get that acoustic sound with feedback resistance in a portable package. Well it works, sounds great unplugged and amplified, (Daf has sent me an Ehrlund to try and it sounds fantastic!). It's an easy one hand carry and fits in the back of my car without putting the seats down. I've gigged it and received compliments on the sound. The only issue I have with it is the slender neck, due to a left hand injury a couple of years ago it's painful to squeeze or make a fist so chunky necks are better for me. So I have a couple of options, either take off the fingerboard and fit a 6mm shim to beef up the neck, or let someone else have the benefit of an as new instrument with a new set of Helicore Hybrid strings (the supplied strings were awful) These basses come with bridge down and need a set up. It was unplayable with the nut too high, which has been lowered to give a nice easy to play instrument. Here is a pic along side my Clifton EUB for size comparison Vibrating string length approx 39" similar to Kolstein Travel Basses as shown in this video
20. I thought this would've been snapped up by now. Maybe it's not all its cracked up to be.
Would go perfectly with my early '80's Dave Lee Travis "phoneless cord"

I've always wanted a genuine DLT phoneless cord What colour is it?
21.
Is it any good for metal?
No, it's made of wood
wILLING TO TRADE FOR A CAPS LOCK KEY..? lITTLE USED, NEARLY NEW.
Amiga or Atari?
