Out of interest, are those pedals really worth all the hype that surrounds them? They don't seem to last 10 minutes when they go up for sale, but the sound samples don't get me that excited. I'd love to try one out
I think it is. Ampeg in a box! Not great for mad distortion but it does what it says on the tin!

I've got a TC Electronic Classic bass head coming so these are now redundant. Don't think the VT Bass needs much of an intro. In great condition with original box instructions etc. £115 inc postage seems fair. Next up is a vintage Ibanez CP9 compressor Serial # 199924 so its an early one. Maxon made (as identified on battery cover and circuit board) These don't come up very often. Really great musical compression have really enjoyed having it on my board. Itgs got a few paint chips but works flawlessly after 20+ years! Looking for £65 inc postage.

  21. Thought I would get my review of the compact down. I had the compact for a short time as part of the tour that is going on. I used it for a couple of practices (one at an audition with a loud drummer and guitarist) and the others at the church I play at plus one gig (the Church). Initial thoughts on the compact were that it was light and an okay carry. I thought it was a bit awkward but I think that is just me! Not so sure about the coating I think I prefer my cabs hairy. Thought the corners didn't look up to much abuse but this is not based on any fact as I only had the cab for a couple of weeks. Construction appeared solid. Okay to the sound. I'm comparing this to the only cabs I have owned - Genz Benz Neox 112, 212 and what is essentially the STL10. It has a lot of low-end and surprising articulation considering it has no tweeter. It’s not got crisp highs but for what I play it was adequate. I had to turn the bass down as it was a bit boomy in church but I think that was down to the acoustics. I used it at an audition and was a bit disappointed with the volume although I was using it with the combo and I think that this cab excels with more power. I was only putting 150/175 perceived watts through it. Personally for me it was not as good as I thought it might be considering the hype that surrounds its. My GB cabs are better for what I need and for the church gig the STL10 can put out similar sound and considering the size of the cab compared to the Compact I find it impressive. If you are used to low end mediocre cabs then the compact will blow you away but I was not. This is only my opinion and I think with more watts the Compact will shine but for me it didn't.

  25.
You love it, Monz was there today and Jeff said someone from BC was enquiring and knew us both. I'm going to call him today about a 2x12 cab they are stunning for people that want a loud sound in a tiny package and for £399 that I think he charges for them there is nothing out there as good, as cheap. Also (I'd have to check with Monz) but I think he said something about offer 10% off for Basschatters, defo on that 2x12. Bring the Matamp love, now to just buy that pesky GT200 head
That was me. He Said about Monz and then suggested a i contact Steve Taylor from BC. I said i know Steve Taylor I asked about a 212 but he was reluctant to quote me a price but for £400 that's just silly! How much were the 410?
