1.
Ok the board has gone through some major changes. First things first i finally got some decent cables and you guys were right the difference is totally mad. I only have enough to do one of my loops but im not too bothered about this as loop 2 has my non tb pedals in it so cheap cables will do for now. Red onion looper see my review in that section. Zoom ultra fuzz OMFG this thing is amazing i will do a review when i get around to it but this pedal is immense. here is the current layout: chain is Cream pie > Loop1 > ultra fuzz > Mule > loop return > loop 2 > aria flanger > delay > tuner > loop return > Opto stomp.
of course, it would look better on a PT Jr
2. bump for a brand new board and pedal
3. its not too heavy but the amount of pedals you put on it obivioulsy has an effect. its qouted as 17lbs total on the PT site. The handle is comfortable and it was an easy lift with the pedals i had on it plus some cables in the box. The Hardcase is definately worth it as you could chuck it in the back of a van and know everything will be safe.
4. Bumpage Really must get dome pics of the pedaltrain up
5. SEM and Nano Stone sold subject to the usual
6.
In fact, how about both for £100 posted?
Go on then. You have PM
7. they are both capable of a wide sweep on more extreme settings and this is enhanced when distortion/fuzz is used. The nano stone has the colour switch which kicks in a deeper sweep. Not sure of the sound you're after but check out the ehx site as although the demos are on guitars it does give you a good idea of what is capable and i'll try and do a some soundclips this weekend but i can't promise anything. Mystic Boo from TB did some SEM clips you can find here http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=578779 Hope this helps
8. Only recently bought these but I’m struggling to fit them into my current sound so I’m going to let them go. I could keep them as pedals to just make noise with but it seems a bit of a waste for just at home use. I keep doing this but each time I do I basically end up just using a clean sound with no effects. They just sound so cool at home and then when I use them in the band situation it just doesn’t fit! My loss your gain! Anyway to start we have a Pedaltrain JR in hardcase. Great pedal board but with the case a bit overkill for my needs. The hardcase is very well built and sturdy and will protect your effects with ease plus there is extra room for cables etc. I bought this for £160 + P&P and this one is only a few weeks old so a price of £130 + P&P seems fair. Next up is an EHX XO Stereo Electric Mistress. A great pedal with no noticeable loss of bottom end to my ears. Check out the EHX site for full specs but it’s basically a Flanger and Chorus in one. I’ve got the original box, instructions and it comes with its own 9 volt power supply although I run it off a daisy chain. Again only a few weeks old and all I’ve done is put Velcro on the bottom to attach it to the board. SOLD Next we have an EHX Nano Small Stone. Great phaser simple and effective. Comes with original box and instructions. Again only a few weeks old and all I’ve done is put Velcro on the bottom to attach it to the board. SOLD Finally I have a Digitech Bass Synth Wah. I bought it to explore Envelope, Synth and Octave sounds and as much as it is a hold load of fun I’ve now discovered that I’m not a fan of envelope or octave but synths are cool! Anyway this might as well go if I get interest. Comes with box and instructions. Again only a few weeks old and all I’ve done is put Velcro on the bottom to attach it to the board. £45 Inc P&P seems fair. I’m considering putting up my Pickle Pie B as it’s not getting the use. If anyone’s interested let me know. I’ll have to work out a price for it. I prefer payment by bank transfer or cheque but i will accept paypal if you pay the fees. I can put more photos up as required. Let me know if you want any specific pictures Thanks for looking
9.
Nice set up! What do you think of the BBE? And also what do you think of the Nano Stone? Cheers, Rich
Really like the BBE. Had one before but flogged it thinking it was doing nothing! When i got my new amp and bass i needed something to tame my bad technique and i think for the money it can't be beaten. I've tried it at the end but i found it too limiting(!). Like it at the beginning to tame my signal going into the effects. I prefer the stone over the nebula i tried. I don't think it can be beaten in its price range.
10.
Hopefully at some point next year Eminence will have a new neo 12" woofer available, which I'm planning to make a compact woofer+mid cab with. With a cab that small I think I'd build in some kind of tilt facilty because it would often be used on small stages or in rehearsals. Alex
My neox has got a tilt back facility
11. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm these are looking increasingly interesting...........................

13. mines chunky and weighs a tonne! I have to take the ring off my third finger on my right hand. A hang up from playing guitar but when i started playing bass again i've not noticed any problems playing with my left hand. Mines court shaped so rounded on the inside and outside which makes it extremely comfortable.
14. i've seen a you tube video of it and it looked really good
15. i had an RB1 and a MAG and the LAney was definately brighter. Nearly bought the RB9 myself
16. Originally owned and sold one of these a while back. Bought one a few weeks ago but the sound isn't quite woring out in my current sitituation so i'm seeing if there is any interest. Check out the specs on the EHX website but its basically a Chorus/Flanger pedal in one. Comes with it own 9 volt power supply but runs quite happily on a daisy chain. Currently i'm using my Diago to power it. its in excellent condition and includes box and instructions. Its got velcro on the bottom to attach to my board but i still have the original feet. Looking for £65 inc P&P. This cost me £75 + P&P a few weeks ago. Thanks
