  1. Gone a bit Tech21…..
  2. Thread from the dead. thomman are getting rid of these for £159 at the moment. Picked another up have stupidly sold my original. it appears to be discontinued.
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185826844447?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=IBOyN0mvR3y&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IBOyN0mvR3y&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  4. Price dropped to £300 and I’ll include postage
  5. Which are…….
  6. DI on the end is the Orchid Electronics Micro. 9 volt was powered by USB
  7. That’s insane. Definitely the same one
  8. You totally should. I’ve had 4 zoots
  9. This interests me. I was after a practice solution. The PJB Big Head Pro is £279 but for the extra I get a battery powered amp too. The odd busking engagement just got easier potentially.
  10. Just for you I’ll include postage in the price……
  11. Based on the legendary DB924 preamp. tiny pedal that adds some great definition and depth to a passive bass. velcro on bottom. comes with original box. price includes postage to UK mainland.
  12. Bought for a project that never happened. great flexible preamp with two channels, drive and deep. Does way more than the Geddy Lee sound. never gigged. one of the rack ears is slightly bent (see picture) Original box included. can post at extra cost.
  13. GSS Sumo Monster Amplifier. 1200 watts @ 4 ohms 800 watts @ 8 ohms Headroom power for days! bought fir a project that never happened. hardly used. £450 plus postage or collection Bath/Bristol.
  14. I’ll agree to disagree!
  15. The time I spend with the big trees the more I like it over the noble. The noble was a one trick pony, a fantastic trick but one only. the big trees can do clean, gritty, overdriven, fuzzy and synthy and if that’s too much you can just switch to the beautiful clean channel. I can buy (and have bought) a great DI cheaply (orchid) and an isolated power supply (the noble outputs aren’t isolated) to complement the big trees and the total including the TBT will be less than importing a noble. I did miss my noble but not anymore.
  16. I think the clean channel of TBT is as good as Noble
  17. Having owned both the TBT is better suited to what I want out of a preamp and the clean channel is to die for. it has more flexibility than the noble IMO
  18. Pairs nicely with the sumo monster
  19. Interesting use of this last night. Played a pub with two acoustic guitars and cajon. Everything through the PA but no monitoring. Used the amp out on the TBT to power a small speaker. Worked a treat.
  20. Or just get the ONE and flip the pure switch. Then you have an EQ for the room if needed.
  21. I had my eye on one too but settled on the TBT to try and cover all bases…..
  22. Yep. That was the primary purchase reason. put my acoustic through the clean channel and it was unbelievable. Don’t think this can make anything sound bad.
  23. Used it last night. Sounded great in the mix and as a bonus I was able to use the clean channel as a mute by turning it down
  24. Ibanez CS9 clone?
  25. Using this tonight at church practice. Straight to the board via an orchid electronics micro DI. looking forward to seeing how it does
