1.
Interesting - is that mounted in a cab?
My isn't but it could be
 2. Since the arrival of my DHA I've not needed anything else preamp EQ wise so clearing out. Great little box of tricks with handy mid shift. Velcro on bOttom and in good condition. Specs on website Looking for £75 delivered. Bank transfer preferred. Trade wise would be interested in a v2 VT Bass
 3.
VT1 EQ DI MK2 user here. Without a doubt, the best pre-amp DI I've ever used. Tried BDDI, VTDI etc and this is streets ahead. Used it straight into the front end of an amp but prefer into power amp/effects return and DI to FOH - sound guys really like it after initial curiosity??!! Just for kicks, I dropped in an old Mullard ECC82 and it is the cherry on top. Not a massive gain drop over the ECC83 but just seems to have a bit more clarity and warm punch. I'm thinking of getting a power amp to run this into for gigging, about 1000w @ 4ohms - any recommendations regarding input sensitivity etc?
I'm using mine into a Bagend minima that does 1000 watt at 4 ohms
 4.
Nice! How loud does the 44 go? Do you gig with it?
Louder than you think although it gets dirtier as you crank it. Guitar it can gig but bass it won't stand up to a drummer doing a pub gig. I use it in church where it copes easily. Very handy little gadget to have tbh. Acoustic gig it could handle if you didn't want über clean
 5.
Version II with the speaker sim button.
Moving to PM
 6.
Any interest in a Tech 21 VT bass?
Which version?
 7. Fantastically transparent bass preamp. Super clean but can add some heft with EQ. Realised I like my preamps more coloured! Three blemishes on it highlited in photos. Comes with box and instructions. Velcro on the back. I'm looking for £105 delivered. Could be interested in trading for a fuzz. Something Green Russian flavoured. Or V2 Tech21 VT Bass

 9. Not so much a board.....
 10.
Here's my little board, slight downsizing as I realised I was only using these pedals in the current band... so moved from Metro 24 back to old PT Mini. Feels right! I just prefer the design of these to the new metro's, and the old bags were better, I don't care what PT say!!!
Haha! I bought a metro 24 and its stayed in its box. Mini all the way for me too. It just works

 12.
It's sticking out a little bit at the back, doesn't get in the way though. Have any of you changed valves? I'm still playing around with it at the moment to get different tones. Any recommendations for settings on there I should try for a nice subtle warmth?
I changed mine cos I dropped it and shattered the original!
 13. yes. When you open it up it makes sense from the circuit boards and the Mk2 is in a smaller enclosure than the Mk1 version so suppose something had to give
 14. Loving my VT1-EQ-DI-Bass Mk2. Great tool. Does it all for me, silent practice, learning songs, DI etc.
 15.
On market?
Sorry sold
 16. Did it not go down to well with the wife?! Used to be mine. Great guy to deal with. GLWTS
 17. Maxon CP9 Pro+. Had one for years. Great pedal.
 18.
Hughes & Kettner Tubemeisters have "redbox" DI output, which also simulates the speaker..... sounds great! Also has built-in attenuator for quiet stage volume.... but unless you want to drive a cab onstage, a decent multi-FX / modeller should do the same job nicely, at lower cost + less gear-lugging.
I use a tubemiester 18 in my dual rig and I'm nothing but impressed. Three channels, built in hotplate and redbox. Great for rehearsing, recording and gigging. Even sounds good with bass!
 19.
Yeah you bought your enabler from me! Hadn't considered DHA stuff - had one of his compressors a few years back that has perhaps tarnished my view of his entire line a bit... Already have a bighead (which is excellent, by the way!), but want the extra functionality the Enabler offers... and it's sturdy enough to go on a pedal board... and runs off 9v...

If you go DHA get the most recent model as the older ones supposedly have noisy headphone amps!
I had a mk1 VT1 and the headphone amp was, to frank rubbish. The Mk2 version is much better, quieter and effective. Is it as good as the enabler probably not but its still good. Recorded with it the other night and was very pleased with the results. I had mine made in a not splashed box.
 20. http://www.davehallamps.co.uk/page53a.html I got a DHA VT1-EQ-DI Mk 2 and have been notheing but impressed. Used to own an enabler too.
 21.
I've had a play with Merton's RM800 and I was very impressed!
fnar fnar
