1. Great cabs these. Had two 112s and just got me a V115. Awesome sound. Have a bump
  2. I'm very interested. Its got all I want in one package. They have thought about this better than the Guitar FlyRig IMO
  3.
I always wondered why they never introduced one the same time as the guitar version ? Here it is .......shame its coloured by the vt500 head https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FHiKIpcUqfc

True... If there's a Sansamp in it, why didn't they do as they themselves recommend and plugged it into the FX return instead...
pretty sure the blend on the amp is fully CCW so there should be no colouring from the amp
  4.
Could you let me know the weight of this please.... Thanks
It's no more than 8.5lbs, nearer 8lb. I used some luggage scales to do it so maybe not absolutely accurate.

  11.
Does anybody know when bass direct will have the vmtd 2.0?
Why not just email Mark?
  12.
I'll not be rushing out to buy any of them I have to say. I suspect I'd feel the same as I have about all the Darkglass stuff I've owned... Meh...
Me too. Very underwhelmed.
  13.
The previous incarnation of the Ibanez Promethean does the job for me, but good luck finding one...
Sold mine!

    Pedal preamps?

I've had BDDI VT Bass EBS Microbass EBS Valvedrive Darkglass B7K Behringer BDI The one I'm digging at the moment is the DHA VT1 DI EQ Mk2
  17.
A possible solution is get a Markbass CMD121 and get a Markbass Little Mark Tube, take the regular LM3 out and put the LMT in the combo. Bit of an expensive way round but this way you get some tube emulation, and the Class A amp you want.
Cheers Lozz. I'm not that adverse to the LM3 in its current guise as I'm led to believe it sounds the same. I suppose it's whether I really want/need the headphone out aux in
  18. I'm looking for a lightweight combo. Something grab and go for practice and PA supported gigs. I'm not looking for something modular i.e. A head and a cab, I'm looking for a one grab solution. I've always had my eye on an MB 121 combo but I'm a little reticent since the LM3 has now gone to class D over the A/B they used the to have, plus the lack of headphone and aux in make me nervous about this purchase. Top of my list was the AER Amp One but these aren't going to be in stock possibly till the middle of next year by the looks of it. So I'm looking at other options. I'm after small and compact with headphone out and aux in. I've seen the Tecamp Classic 112 which is basically a Puma 350 mated to a 112 which fits the bill. Sound wise my big rig was an Orange AD200b into a lightweight 115 although I'm moving the Orange on. I'm not expecting to replicate this in the small rig but he ability to get something more old school vibe tone wise would be an advantage. Anyway, anyone got any other observations/suggestions? Thanks in advance
  19.
Different brands but you've got the amp set-up I'm really lusting for at the moment; lightweight 1x12's & a big valve head - very jealous, I bet it's great.
It's actually a 115. Guess it looks quite compact I did have two Chili 112s and they were great
  20.
Looking at the Faital website, the 15PR400 goes higher than most 15" speakers, but in an even and non peaky way. So you probably will hear some more treble than with the OBC115, but it should respond nicely to EQ if you need to tone it down. I bet that's a good sounding rig with the AD200!
That would explain that. Yeah, it sounds rather spiffing
  21. Shonky pic taken at practice last night Overall very pleased with. I would say initial results to my ears it doesn't seem as smooth as my OBC115 although that doesn't Infer that the Chili is harsh. Still smooth and the look in my drummers face when he lifted it was priceless! He couldn't believe the how light it was abs commented that the sound hadn't been compromised.
  22. Well I would have been using it had I not just got excited practicing and manage to fling it off the work top smashing the valve New one ordered
  23.
Let us know how it gets on with the power amp! Which one are you trying? I'm absolutely loving the MK2
BagEnd Minima
