1. Used this with my bassbone to daisy chain it and use it at 9 volts on a daisy chain. Boxed with instructions and in great condition. Looking for £40 delivered in the UK. 2. Radial Tonebone Bassbone spare PSU. Sold my tone bone and this is hanging around. Quite hard to source and useful to have a back up. Looking for £15 delivered in the UK. 3.
That's it! Turned off the ultra low latency and it's clean as a whistle. Many thanks sirs, I'm off to play. Has anyone any idea when the Positive Grid footswitch is to be released? I just need that now and it's a gig-able rig.
Been thinking about picking up an iRig BlueBoard, the same one as Set is using
 4.
Quite like the idea of this. However - I'm happy with my head and cab. I would quite like to use some of the more strange effects within my pedalboard... Presume you could run in/outs on the sonic port as per normal board? Can you disable the amp in some of these apps? Eg could I run Bass > Tuner > Octave > Fuzz > Sonic Port > Synth > reverb (for example)?
Yes
 5.
Damn you Ste, this thread is making me want to buy an iPad next!
The blog made my mind up to by a sonic port. I'm in to deep now
 6.
It has vastly improved the situation. I am still getting the odd click having changed patch, but then it seems to settle and be fine. I still need to carry out further tests, I think it could still be better.
Have you turned the latency off?! This fixed it for me
 7. I've had some crackles and pops and couldn't work out if it was my cables or the app
 8.
This is excellent, what I've been looking for really when I posted the thread in the accessories section. Definitely going to try and pickup a sonic port now. No experience to call from but how does one go about modelling an amp via Bias? That along with jam up has sold this route for me so far. And buying effects to try out is a lot cheaper than actually buying the effect in reality. How much in do you reckon it would cost to get setup as an iOS bassist. I already have an iPad, so need a interface and some apps, plus more effects than necessary lol ?
I've bought an interface, two bass packs for jam up and a hercules stand and I've spent £110.
 9. Used my iOS setup in church this morning. Liking it I'm a gigging iOS bassist
 10.
Enjoyed your blog! Thinking of getting me a sonic port now
Got one this week. It's awesome!
 11.
do you use an Envelope Filter as well? I like Compressor up front but if you do that then the compressor levels out your playing dynamics which really screws up your EF.
I do
Yep, although depending on your filter/overdrive you may want to tame the dynamics with a compressor first as SK8 likes
For this reason
 12.
Would you really put the compressor before the filter?
Yes I would. I've experimented with a compressor in various positions in my chain and the place I like it best is first in line. Your Milage may vary

 15.
Brilliant, and sorry for being a bit dense!
No worries dude
 16.
As helpful as ever Dood
17.
So, forgive my ignorance, the dry output is not affected by the dry control pot - that's just for the dry signal going through the effect out?
Yes
 18. The dry signal will be outputting through the effect send. If you don't want dry in the effect turn if fully off. The dry send is the input buffered the effect send includes up down and dry if selected
 19.
Now Andertons are saying end of February!... It's not like I'm checking that website every day or anything!
