  1. Woo hoo! Im coming now! On the Sunday.
  2. Thanks Cameron, i think they look better, apparently the neck profile is even nicer, and i especially like that they've now used standard shaped pickups so easier to upgrade if required!
  3. Hi folks! Just wondered if anyone here owns or had played the BB435? I think they look great, but struggling to find any decent reviews of them..... Thanks all.
  4. wow, quite a difference! I think the MTD one looks like quite a good bet. Decent price and not too bulky.
  5. Oooh, I've just been offered one of those?
  6. Thanks for all the replies guys! I'm kinda more unsure about it now than i was before now though! Kinda thinking if i want to cut down on the bulk of my cases I'd be better just going for 2 gig bags.....
  7. Interesting, thanks for the feedback Lozz!
  8. Hi folks, Currently, i take two basses in hard cases to gigs, but I'm curious about these dual gigbags. Couple of questions really: 1) Does the design work in practice? Are they protective enough, and is there any risk of the basses damaging each other? Does anyone here have any experience with these gigbags? 2) Are there any decent ones that aren't horrifically expensive? There's no way I'm shelling out £280 For a Mono one! Thanks guys.
  9. Ah okay, need to fire the pc up at some point then. 🖒
  10. Sorry dude, too used to using that B string these days!
  11. Okay, so i think definitely a Cali VM5, i want something that isn't going to look out of place in any situation really, but also not too dull. Definitely maple fb, and probably dots. Trying to minimise any upgrades, but if i were to go with any of the Matt finishes I'd upgrade to swamp ash, but i kinda feel like I'm leaning more towards high gloss/alder at the moment. Must confess I've been dormant on BC for a while and i can't figure out how to upload any pics, otherwise I'd add some configurator pics!
  12. Great basses also, but it's the feel of the Sandberg basses that i love, the necks are just perfect in my hands.
  13. Not for me, but very nice nonetheless! Was considering a cali VM5 in similar colours.
  14. Very fussy, very specific tastes, and i know from long experience that Sandberg basses fit me perfectly.
  15. This is also a good shout! Trouble is i was aiming for the 'one bass to rule them all' type of thing, that could cover everything i need, i think that's why I'm being especially fussy about it
  16. Thats a good idea! Although i have already asked opinions of my bandages, etc. but don't necessarily agree!
  17. Is anyone else here REALLY indecisive? I've been trying to decide on the spec for a new Sandberg bass for AT LEAST 6 months now and it's driving me mad! For certain reasons i need to decide by Feb 1st, and can't come to a conclusion!
  18. stunning and very sexy! Massive sandberg fan here too, i dont think there are better basses at this price point. GLWTS!
  19. Gorgeous! And very tempting as you're in the same town as me...... i did have something very specific in mind, but this has put me all about now!
  20. The TM basses have a coil split switch for the humbucker dude, so you can get that thinner, traditional jazz bass sound if you want. Fwiw, I think it sounds much better with the humbucker at the bridge.
  21. Oooh, if this had a maple board..... seriously though, incredible basses! I have an ebony fretboard pin my sandberg Ken Taylor, and it's by far the nicest fretboard I've ever played. GLWTS man
  22. Really excellent, loud and lightweight cab here! When I got this, I was amazed how compact it is for a 4x10"! Really big solid bass response, and projects very well. The three tweeter settings are very useful and useable, enabling everything from old school thump to amazing clarity and detail. Comes complete with Roqsolid fitted cover, and push in casters. Weighs around 30kg, measures approx. 600x600x375mm. This cab is now surplus to requirements, hence the sale. Collection from Hereford, or will consider meeting halfway within a sensible distance. Sale only please, no trades. Pics here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cSjq79LA2EPitRJN2 Thanks for looking! 😃🖒
