Just wondered if anyone can recommend any good albums featuring Andrew Gouche on bass?

I'm with New Moon, and they've been amazing (although thankfully I haven't had to claim yet!). Not only is the price great, but so is the customer service. They're fairly small so you get quite a personal service. They haven't charged me for changing my gear (unless of tcourse the value has increased my premium), and have generally been very helpful. They're underwritten by Hiscox, who apparently wanted to start a specialist instrument insurance company, so you know the cover's good. Anyway, I normally insure all my gear for the value of brand new replacements.

I'm just trying to change my avatar, and the new one shows when I check my profile, but it's still the old one on all my posts...... I've cleared all of the history, etc in my browser but no joy. Any ideas? Ta

Why don't you ask a BCer who has a Cali V series to measure the nut for you? I think someone's selling one on here at the moment, or get in touch with Longtimefred, who plays a Cali VM and is a Sandberg Endorsee.

You know what I'm gonna say....... Love my Sandberg Basic Ken Taylor 5, it's the only 34" 5er I've ever liked, the B is stonking! I like it because although 35" scale is great for the B string, I don't like the added tension in the other 4 strings, so my KT is perfect for me. Massive range of sounds on offer, and a super comfortable neck that's effortless to play. Can't wait to order my new one when I can finally decide what finish I want!

I had a California PM (now VM) for a while. I know it's a bit different, but had a passive tone control and with the P pickup soloed it sounded pretty authentic IMO. The neck was nicer than any Fender P I've played (obviously!), but I can't really comment on how it compares to a TM because I haven't played one of those for a couple of years, and I've never had chance to A/B the two. Needless to say, the neck felt lovely and very easy to play. Hope this helps a little!
