1. Bought a Squier from Phil - no issues at all, would deal with again
2. fatboyslimfast bought some strings from me. No problems at all, great bloke! Cheers
3. It's a Spector NS-2A. It looks awesome, except it's sunburst which I've never been a massive fan of. Look nice but I'd prefer it black. I want to refinish the whole thing except the headstock front and fingerboard
4. Evil Undead

SOLD.

I wanted this when it was for sale last time round! I still want it, but unfortunately don't have the money now
5. I'm going to be receiving my first ever neck thru bass in a couple of weeks. I'm thinking that I might like to refinish it, but I'm a little nervous. I've stripped and repainted a few precisions and jazzes, all bolt on of course, but never a NT. Any advice on what to do differently or if I should perhaps just leave it alone?!
6. I have a really nice strap that I bought for about £20 last year and have probably used twice so it's in excellent condition - it's purple and covered in lightning bolts. [s]£10[/s] £8 including postage, or best offer.
7. I remember reading that the sound engineer for ABBA used to triple track all of the instruments, and put one track just slightly out of tune and the other slightly out of time. I think that's one of the things that made them sound so interesting and unique.
8. Welcome! I'm sure you'll find something you like over in the classifieds Beware of the G.A.S. though!!!
9. Bump for added trade option
10. If this was a 4, I'd be on it like Sonic.
11.
Jaysus! So what's the solution, then... as I was quite partial to the Spector? Was after more of the same, ideally.
If you love Spector, stick with Spector. If you fancy something a little different but just as awesome and feel like trying something new, go with the Warwick. I doubt you would be disappointed.
12. I will try and comment in a non-biased way I've never played a Spector but I know they have a very devoted following. They sound really good. As for Warwick, I've owned 3. - 1994 Fortress One - great bass, loved the PJ setup. Didn't like the all wenge neck. Neck profile was very similar to my.... - 2008 Corvette $$ 4 - quite simply the best bass I've ever owned. Love the neck (quite chunky but not "baseball bat") love the electronics, love everything about it. Very versatile. The ash body gives a wonderful tone, and makes it quite light weight as well. Prefer the ovangkol neck. - 2006 Corvette $$ 5 custom shop - As above. Of course, adding an extra string does make the neck a bit thicker but not uncomfortably so. And it's light for a 5, at 9.5lbs. Excellent B string.
13. Welcome VoodooChili You've been playing for about the same length of time as me and you sound like you are much more advanced! Hope you enjoy the forums
14. I've added postage option above and will throw in a free hard foam case for basschatters
15. I'm a very happy person and have bought my old bass back from Flex So this is for sale only now.
16. The only bass I ever regret selling is my Warwick Corvette $$ 4. But as anyone who reads the classifieds will probably know, I'm buying her back and she will be with me tomorrow evening! Woooooo!
17. Hehehe! I'm honestly so, so happy that I'm getting it back. Can not wait for Tuesday evening to come round
