1. Another +1 for the Diago Powerstation. Can power up to 30 pedals, has multiple adaptors for different voltages should you have pedals that run on 9V/12V/18V and a battery adapter for pedals that have no AC input. Great piece of kit.
2. SOLD Afternoon all, Up for grabs is my MXR El Grande. Excellent fuzz pedal which is now surplus to requirements. Comes boxed and with all paperwork - £50 inc postage. Cash by bank transfer only please.
3.
Looks like it came out of something's arse - uncomfortably.
Oh my GOD!! I just wet myself!
4. Iron Ether Oxide is on my list along with the Tech 21 Red Ripper mentioned earlier. Both sound pretty cool from what I've heard on YT. Both can definitely lean towards the 'synthy' side of things.
5. No need for 5+ strings so I vote for 4 as well
6. And replied. Original post updated with postage and payment details.
7. Edited. Wonderlove now for sale @ £150.00.
8. ++SOLD++ ++SOLD++ ++SOLD++ Afternoon all, Here's my 3Leaf Audio Wonderlove (#089) up for sale. I bought this from a BC member for £160 less than a month ago on the strength of my 3Leaf GR2 but I have to say I much prefer the GR2 and can't really justify having the Wonderlove as well. It's never been gigged let alone out of the house and is offered exactly as I got it - boxed with the manual and some minor flaws on the bottom and on one side which I've done my best to show in the pics. Asking £150.00 firm (which includes postage) Payment by bank transfer only. Cheers folks Edited from 'Trade Only' to 'For Sale' after I realised I could just buy one of the pedals I want with the proceeds from the Wonderlove. Yep, I'm a bit stoopid!
9. Every time I try to view a thread (any thread it seems) all I get is the 'Subscribe' page. Is this how BC is going to work from now or is it just teething problems? Ian
10. If this is anywhere near as good as 3Leaf's GR2 & Wonderlove, both of which I've recently acquired from BC'ers, I can't see it being here for long, especially at that price. Good luck, not that I think you'll need it!
11.
...or maybe MM in the bride position is what i want.
Oooh err missus! Sounds a bit rude! Anyway, it's your bass so search for someone local/reputable and have the work done.
12. Bugger! OK Marsy I bags first dibs on your Oxide!
13. Just a heads-up BH12neil; there is a 36 hour bumping rule in effect at the mo. Wouldn't like you to get a slapped wrist from the mods for bumping too often! PS - I've got one of these and they're great pedals!
14. I added a Fender tort scratchplate (among other improvements) to my fretless VM Jazz a while ago and had to do a bit of work to get it to fit properly. Worth the effort as it looks pretty good I think. Here's a before/after pic of mine: http://basschat.co.u...-1310984265.jpg
15. Yep, I've been hankering for a B3K as well then this comes out! No stockists near me so will have to buy one blind. Hopefully BC (or TB ) communities will help me in my decision!
16. Having bought Alex's MB Super Synth and his Wonderlove (oooh err!) I can happily confess this guy is an absolute pleasure to deal with. No qualms whatsoever. Thank you Alex!
17. We're rehearsing with a new drummer this avo. First time I've actually looked forward to a rehearsal in ages!
18. Another +1 for OC-2. Failing that, try the MXR octave pedal. Have also heard good things about Aguilar Octimizer but have never used one.
19. Another +1 for the OC-2, Rick. The OC-3 can't hold a candle to the OC-2 even though it claims to have the original OC-2 mode .I had an OC-2 years ago and was looking for a new octaver so I A/B'd the OC-3 nad the MXR Bass Octave Deluxe (couldn't find an OC-2 and the MXR was getting rave reviews) and the difference was night and day. Tracking issues asside, the OC-2 is so much warmer and way more organic than it's newer counterpart. OC-2 all the way but if you're having trouble locating one then the MXR does a pretty good job too. Have also heard good things about the Aguilar Octamizer if it's specifically an octave pedal you're looking for, but have never used one.
20. Another +1 for the OC-2 but if you can't find one then the MXR Bass Octave Deluxe is a close second. Stay away from the Boss OC-3 - a truly dreadful pedal (IMHO) I did and A/B with the OC-3 & MXR and even though the OC-3 claims to have the original OC-2 mode it's nothing like the OC-2 or the MXR. Avoid! have heard good things about the Aguilar Octamizer but have never used one.
21. Steely Dan are one of my favourite bands and I was lucky enough to get a ticket to the last gig in Edinburgh Playhouse a few years back. Was outstanding, best £60 I've spent! Love Donald Fagen's writing. Great track. cheers Lowdown
22. Excellent pedals so I doubt this'll be here long especially at that price. I have the GR2 and a Wonderlove on the way. I love the 3Leaf filters!
