1. Trades considered - whatchya got ? Photos up tomorrow, I'm away until then.
  2. For sale, one Vintage V400-12 12 string guitar with gig bag. £50. Mint condition - studio use only and just over a year old. I originally bought it for a project and I love the 12 string sound so I'm now upgrading to a more expensive one. Pics: Based SW London/Surrey. Would rather not post if it can be avoided, but I do travel a bit round the UK from time to time so meetups are always worth discussing. Thanks for looking, Cheers, John
  3.
PM sent.
Now sold - thanks Andy
  4.
Could I use this as a portable practice device and play along to tracks on the memory card?
Not sure, let me check the instructions and get back to you. No reason why not, just not sure if the device will pick up the MP3s on the card to allow you to play along to them.
  5. Bump for a great device for recording rehearsals and gigs...
  6. Zoom H4 in excellent condition. Have built out a studio now and upgraded my portable recording set up so its no longer needed. 2GB SD card and power supply, tripod bracket (no tripod) and Microphone wind shield. USB cable and Cubase SE software included. £140 UK Posted and £135 if you can collect. Based Worcester Park, Surrey Pics: Cheers, John

    TOMBBOY

Bought a PA off Jamie, Peavey cabs, Peavey 2600 amp, Phonic desk and Behringer Feedback destroyer. We never met, but he was a top guy to deal with over PM and email, helpful and responsive. My Drummer and Lead singer did the pickup and he arrived on time, all the gear was as described. All worked fine when we got it back and plugegd in all in and Jamie was helpful with a couple of minor questions. First gig last Saturday with the “new” PA and we are delighted. 150 people in quite a large room, 200ft x 50ft. Loads of compliments on the sound – very clear, well defined etc. Buy from this guy with confidence !
  8.
Had the pleasure of dealing with dunetune_jazz, uzzell and most recently wildman. All three have been great to deal with, helpful, prompt and polite. Cheers
This particular bass had three "very interested" parties who pulled out at the last minute, the first for a very good reason, the second just stopped responding to PMs (they are still posting on BC) and the third failed to turn up for a meet after I had lugged the bass and case up to work. I will never name names, because I am not that kind of person, but for future traders, jj1234 (John) is a man of his word, decisive, pays promptly and overall a pleasure to deal with. John, sounds like you are pleased with your purchase which is absolutely great ! (An endorsement for Interparcel too from someone who hates couriering musical instruments - 24 hour service from SW London to Leeds and that was their lowest priced offering) http://www.interparcel.com.

  14. So Matt, the 'vette is on the move again ! Have a bump on me - this used to be mine and is a cracking bass with an unbelievable range of tones from the pickups. These can be blended, coil tapped and soloed at your will to create J and MM sounds as well as the classic Warwick growl.
  15. If anyone's interested, we are playing the Grey Horse, Kingston on Thames on March 12th. Event Poster: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v309/for...rch12th2010.jpg
Its slim, more like the Fender than the Warwick. I own a Fender J and used to own a Warwick Streamer. Definitely not the baseball bat style of the Warwick and very slightly thicker than my Fender J. My Fender's neck is 22mm thick at the 12th fret. The Sandberg's neck is 25mm thick at the 12th "fret" - the octave position, 15mm at the first "fret" - it fans out slightly so its a bit thicker at the nut position itself. Cheers, John
Bump...
Getting more interested..... How deep is the neck..? (damn shame Sandberg dont put any of this info on their webby!) is it shallow like a late model Fender P or Warwick deep D shape...? I've always liked thier basses but not got around to trying one.
Its slim, more like the Fender than the Warwick. I own a Fender J and used to own a Warwick Streamer. 24.
Hi wildman, just a really quick community 'shout out' to say the bass is exactly as advertised and sounds even better. Real happy we did the deal, thanks for being so genuine! (in my view, a quality that is getting harder to find these days) Hope the gig in Brighton went well. cheers Llew
Llew, It was a pleasure to meet and do business with you ! Again a community shout - I have been messed around a lot with this sale and with two other basses too. It was great to find someone totally honest and genuine. Glad you like the Lakland. The Brighton gig was a barnstormer so that made it a great day for both of us ! In a strange twist, yesterday I was asked to play keys (my first instrument) in a session for an up and coming band (knowing that you are switching back to bass from keys !) If you want to set up a feedback thread on BC I would be the first to contribute a positive message ! Cheers John
