Yup all lunatics, one of my old drummers from years ago wore leather trousers for gigs so he could take a piss mid gig and it would run out the bottom like a downpipe ... Yuk.

I don't think you're talking tosh Mike, I seem to have got my aches pains, funny feelings etc soon after I piled on about 3 stone, I never changed eating habits, tho I do drink to much, I think we put weight on as our metabolism slows down?

Glad it went well, my first gig was a nightmare, the support bands bass player never showed up, they asked me if I'd do it and I said yes, 40 mins of hell... Never knew any of the songs, no chords written down I was just watching the rhythm guitarists hands... Oooh shudder, never again.

I've used a pick for 32 yrs and it's never twisted or fell out of my hand, I've had to twist a few mid song when they snap (quite often) when I'm having a proper dig in, it just feels natural holding one, I only use the smooth ones rather than textured
