5.
Meant to be great, but not to my liking, Keith Moon.
nope, I never rated his drumming much but a great Mr Rock n Roll

 9. Hi all, just found a set of Fender stainless 7350s round wound strings in my bag, dunno where they come from, didn't know I had them, are they any good? Don't want to put them on my P if they're not all that. Cheers
 10. Cheers vmax I just ordered some and yes it's free p&p
 11. I'm sure I see Mr Pratt stand in for Norman Watt-Roy, maybe his playing has rubbed off on him?

 13. I have an identical one to this (left handed also) it's all I've gigged with for 2 yrs, sounds awesome
 14. Not seen the The band but I did see Ian McNabb supporting The Stranglers years ago and he was great
 15.
Go Buddy Go, by The Stranglers. Can't believe I only heard it for the first time a few months ago - I was young when it was first out!
+1 for Go Buddy Go mate
 16.
All at same time, give the less accessible places a wipe down while I'm at it. Change every 6 months or so with reasonable use but I'm only paying about £6 per set.
6 squid a set, get me some mate,
 17.
Taking all of the advice above how did we ever manage when listening to nothing more than a transistor radio from Woolworths, tuned to Luxembourg or Caroline, under the bedclothes, in the dark
your'e showing your age there son... I remember it well.
 18. God that's ugly, bet it sounds monsterous tho
 19.
That's why we won't see you playing them.
that's the only place I'm allowed to play them

 21. You won't see me playing a precision
 22.
Gigging satisfies the insecure show-off part of me that nothing else can. And, like Lozz said, the quiet drive home (with perhaps a bit of classical music on) is sublime.
not when you're sitting in a 6 mile tailback at dartford bridge at 2am it ain't
 23.
Jimmy Lea's live tone was awesome (to my ears). An active bass, huge output pickups with onboard overdrive through a massive Hiwatt based rig Starts on the riff at 14 seconds in but is repeated throughout in parts. Also love Lemmy's live tone and anything by Duck Dunn, so as BRX says - (I paraphrase, I hope) - context is everything.
that is fantastic
