Does Bruce Foxton only play downstrokes? A lot of his bass lines are very fast, I have to use up and down.

That happened to me once on tour, i had to put the amp on the floor because of cab vibration (2x15), got it home stripped it down and was lucky enough to see the dry solder joint, i dripped some solder on it and presto.. It was an acoustic 360 head.

Last time i lent my bass head out to a mate it came back knackered, he did have it repaired but i won't be doing it again
