1. When i buy a new/ second hand bass i have a luthier check them over then never touch them, had a '78 jazz for 25yrs that fell off the stage on numerous occasions.. (dopey roadie) although once i was still attached to it (too many beers) and the action and intonation was still bang on.. Good ol fender
 2.
Not really sure, but the TRC doesn't look right, not sure if the binding has the gap behind the bridge, couple of other tiny things. He's not sure if it's 4001/4003. Double truss rod, well, there have been fakers with double truss rods, I have had a couple. It's just nagging at me, so hopefully an expert will put me out of my curiosity
cheers mate, it would have had me fooled, no good to me as i'm lefty, always wanted one up til now, a dep that stands in for me has one and hates it ??

 4. Wassup with it?
 5. You could always do what i did.. "right its either him or me".. I eventually found another band.
 6. Gigging is not a problem for me, sitting down playing indoors knackered my arm where the bass is too high and my arm is behind me, after 30 yrs of it i now stand up whilst practicing and its better tho not completely gone.
 7. You will defo find the big heavy cabs are going cheap, i've just gone lightweight (markbass), I put my 1x15 peavey and 4x10 GK on ebay and got £92.00 for both of them.. D'oh
 8. Looks just like my gaff, his garden shed i'm talking about
 9. If i think too much then i'll make a mistake, not sure why, half way through a song i'll think " oh dear what comes next"..or when playing my warwick in bad lighting with no neck dots, ooh my gawd
 10. Yea i supported both Mud and Sweet on numerous occasions, Les became unrecogniseable and Brian had to be almost carried on stage
 11.
I don't think it's the pinnacle , just haven't heard many say playing it well is taking it easy
There's playing it and there's playing it correctly, been playing it for 20 odd yrs spot on.. til i listened to it with headphones on.. oops

 13.
What are pickup covers actually for?
Not a clue.. If you break a string with the bridge one on you gotta unscrew it
 14.
So rising to the challenge, is it fingers or picks on NYE?
picks !!!

 19.
Or load the original into a DAW and pitch shift it up an octave, then put a low pass filter on it at around 300Hz, the bass line will pop right out in your face - easy. Next step, slow it down to half speed, looping any note you arent sure of, and transcribe away....
Whats a "DAW" ?
 20. There's always a Rush tune for a challenge

 24.
I'm sure the KSD is MIK, but the sticker, man! The sticker! If the sticker is MIA, you're OK. If it's MIM, you're never gonna trust it, no matter how good it is. GAS will ensue.
