7. I have a 78 USA jazz, a '94 CIJ 60s RI and a '96 MIM... The mim is by far the better sounding bass of the three , does this tell you not to change your pickups?
 8.
Steady on. You've only been in the band 4 weeks yourself. Personally if I were the other guys I'd just ditch the pair of you. You're only more important because it's difficult to find bass players. I don't know how old you guys are but it all seems pretty immature. The new guitarist doesn't fit in - for whatever reason. He needs to go. Calmly and quickly before he gets too comfortable and you end up learning stuff thay needs relearning next month with someone else.
+1
 9. Ill have a gander at that mate
 10.
Umm, not wanting to sound negative, but I tried a double bass a few months ago, and despite Clarky showing me the correct technique, it felt like playing a f***ing sperm whale. Your upper body, wrists and hands may be f***ed after shedding for even a few hours, they will simply not be used to the techniques. Your muscles and tendons need conditioning over time. There's a risk that you will seize up a couple of days before the gig and be unable toplay, leaving the band in the sh*t. My reaction is that the responsible thing to do is to let someone else do it, put the work in for a future opportunity, and get a few lessons in the meantime so you get the correct techniques down.
sperm whale... Ha ha fantastic
 11.
Hi guys, Just a quick reminder that our Basschat discount for the Sterling by Musicman Sub Basses will be coming to an end at Midnight on Tuesday.
leftys??
 12.
I would say yes, but all companies will ask you what you can bring to the table. After all, why would they give YOU %30, and not some one else? ... just my two cents again...
thanks for your 2 cents
 13. I gig 2 or 3 days a week, is it possible for me to get an endorsement?

 17.
Definitely try before you buy - I picked up a mint condition Stingray 5 for a great price & after spending a week with it I'd never been so disappointed with a bass in my life.
Exactly what happened to me
