booboo

I've got heavy (Jamerson) Labbella flats on my P-bass, and TI (super floppy) flats on my jazz. Sound-wise I am a happy bunny, but these strings are such polar opposites that when I change between the two basses there seems to be an awkward time while my fingers/brain make the nessecary adjustments. Do Ineed to find a "compromise" string to use on both basses or do you think I just need to change my technique? Thanks in advance for any advice.
