The status is great but i will get a jazz at some stage for a different vibe .Im doing alot of different gigs now with some good names and need to have the right sound required for the gig im on at the time. Thanks to everyone for your input like i said it was just a feeler will not advertsise anything untill i know 100% i want to sell thanks ian http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endID=136281936

I think you must be on commission or something . Your a bit like the GB informant Why do you feel the need to start ringing bernie ?what does it matter to him what i do. i dont think hes bothered what i do to be honest. The status is a great bass and i mean a great bass and i havent said 100% that i would want to get rid . and yes the GB was a great bass and yes i do wish i had not got rid of it.But at the time i needed to sell both my basses to fund the status which i dont regret one little bit .Its a lot of bass very fast action great tones and great wood. if i really want to get another GB ill wait and spend more time over woods colour etc and dont forget i did not have the upgraded electronics iver in mine STRINGS As far as the strings thing like i keep saying on a king bass in my opinion 30s to 115 works best for me not everyone me on this bass. thanks once again john for your comments ian www.myspace.com/iandobbinsbass tour dates etc

  22. Hi this is just a feeler at the mo I bought this a little while ago of out to play jazz .This is a great bass and i mean a great bass but find my self limited to 30s to 115 strings just seem to suite the bass best in my opinion. the slap sound is great and finger style. i just think i like a more jazz bass feel really i know ill regret it but im looking for 1400 pounds onvo Many thanks ian http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...status+kingbass
