9. Re;- Fender Telecaster. It’s a 1971 “CBS” era model. It has black “Kent Armstrong” Pickups for extra sustain. It has a skinny maple neck & rosewood fret board. The frets are broad (like on a Gibson) so excellent for string bending & a fashionable worn black body for that pre-stressed look. Also included is a new replacement tweed hard case. It has recently been fret dressed & the action set up by the guitar doctor so it’s all set up ready to play! When I look on eBay & on the vintage guitar sites the top of the range prices over here are about £3225 in original mint condition but because I’ve replaced the pick-ups (kent armstrong hand built to my spec.) & machine heads - (genuine Fender replacements) (All professionally done) & the stressed body its true value is probably around £1500 - £2000. I will accept £1200 for a quick sale. I've had the guitar since the early 80's & had the work done on it to maintain it in tip top playing condition. Its been well used over the last 30 years & plays like a dream. Unfortunately due to having recently purchasing a Gibson 335 custom & a Rickenbacker 660 I now have to reduce my over draught or face the Wrath of the Mrs! Cheers Vindi

 11.
It was an incredibly tempting offer, but as i don't play guitar, i would just have to sell that on instead. good luck with the sale though and thank you for the offer! j
Hi Wilko If I get what I want for the telecaster I may yet give you a call. Cheers Vindi
 12.
bump...
Hi Wilko Still can't tempt you with my telecasater? I've currently got it up for sale in a music shop in Nottingham. Cheers vindi
 13. Hi Guys We are just forming a new 5 piece functions band in Nottingham & we are looking for an experienced Bass player (male or female) to complete the line up. I'm playing rhythm guitar/backing vox in this band for a change. We are looking to gig approximately once a week. We have a girl singer, two guitars & drums & are looking to do the rockier/indie side of pop. Transport & backing vox a big plus. If you are interested. Message/PM or call/text me on 07806 786994 Cheers Vindi
 14.
Currently gigging in a covers band, but Birmingham based and keen to get something closer to home for rehearsals, although happy to travel to gigs. Solid reliable, good gear and large vehicle. Not a gifted musician by any stretch, but hey I'm a bass player, happy to learn varied material, but I'm not an instant able Jam type, I need notice and practice, but once its in its in. Youthful 46 yr old, not good with tempremental arty types, looking for a friendly down to earth approach ideally gigging on average a couple of times a month.
Hi John Might have something that may interest you. Putting together a functions band in Notts. PM me with your email or phone No. & I'll explain more Cheers Vindi
 15.
That is incredibly tempting, i just wouldn't know where to start with a guitar. Is it all original etc? jamie
Hi Jamie Unfortunately not all original any more. I've had to get the machine heads changed & the pup's - as they were no longer serviceable - had them all done professionally, & it was also re-fretted in the 80's. The new pup's were made by "kent armstrong" to my spec. I got the guitar in about 83. Its a 1971 CBS era model. It was fret dressed & set up last year. I hadn't intended to sell it and it has been gigged regularly over the last 30 years & plays like a dream. I have two other guitars as well now so it is surplus to requirements. I've only got the one bass & would like the thumb to complete my collection. I can remember trying one out back in the early 90's & loving it but couldn't afford one back then. If you need any more info PM me & we can email or phone etc. Cheers vindi
 16. Hi Wilko I have been after one of these for years but like most people I am financially embarrassed. I don't suppose there is any way you would consider trading it for my beloved 1971 fender telecaster guitar. Regards Vindi
 17.
Bass player wanted urgently for our eclectic covers band- looking to gig once or twice a month on average. We currently practice once a week on a Tuesday night in a Derby pub, but this could be flexible. We're lates 20's- early 40s in age but, age is not really an issue as long as you are old enough to drink as gigs will mostly be in licenced venues.PM me for details
Hi ellie Did you ever get sorted with a bass player for your band? I was interested in your band but not able to reply at the time as I was already commited to another band. I live locally & have good gear & bags of experience. If you are still looking for someone give me a call or text. Regards Vindi 07806 786994
 18. Hi Guys really interested in your advert & up for the challenge & would like more details. I am currently free & looking to join a band. I've been doing a lot of covers recently & got a lot of playing experience of different styles, good gear & transport. I've got a medium high voice & can do lead vocals depending on the difficulty/syncopation of the bass line! I enjoy singing harmonies. I live in nottingham & work 8 till 4 monday to friday. If you are interested contact me. regards Vindi
