1.
I'm primarily raising cash to fund my MarkBass gas (but it's worth asking as there may be something that catches my eye). I don't like those EB3s, they just never appealed to me and I'm a 4-stringer only, sorry! Lol, you've quoted my saying about drummers! Nice
Aye dude. I laugh every time i read it. Shame about the no trade though. Would a gothic t-bird with blue side leds tempt you?
2. I think its a high expectation of discounts.
3. aaaaaaaany interest in a trade? Got a vintage v950b or a epi eb3?
4. Vintage brand 335 copy (vsa535) in cherry red with aftermarket p90s?
5. I got this in a trade for one of my basses, but im just looking for other basses really. Plays fantastically, sounds awesome, like awesomely awesome. Guy who had it before me switched the pickups out for p90's in humber size i believe. Looks like the ones from axesrus. Got separate vol/tone for each pickup and 3 way selector. Come with a hiscox hardcase. [s]£250[/s] £230 for the guitar and case. Postage will be extra. trade wise: basses, guitars etc. Pics:
6. I got these in a bunch of stuff i bought from a dude. He said they're noiseless pickups, and they have 3 wires coming from them. Im just wondering, based on their underside, and rounded edge design, can anyone identify them? They measure 4.81k and 4.99k. He said they were old, so im assuming they're not made not within the current millennium. Pics: Any help would be cool chaps.
7.
I should keep looking for a G&L SB-1 Steve
Dam, im after one of those as well. good luck with the search
8. Thanks for the info. Id love to hear more on these.
9. So, here we have a few parts that i have come across in my travels that i dont really have a need for, and figure they can go to someone who wants to create basses or fix current oldies. Prices are (and maybe negotiable) [s]Gibson pickup £50[/s] SOLD [s]Aria pro 2 bass bridge £50[/s] SOLD [s]Gibson style aftermarket bridge with string longerer £50[/s] SOLD BTW, im leaving the pics on here as a reference for future people who may find it useful. All these prices include postage. (NB, ive posted these prices for the bridges as i can find bugger all info on them, and even less pictures, so i assume they are somewhat rare.) So, first we have a gibson ripper pickup, the early version. Measures 6.39 ohms on the ol multimeter. Only issues with it are: -Shortened leads -Missing plate ground lead -The countersinks on the face of the pickup have been enlarged roughly. -The bottom edges of the pickup have been shortened (decrease the pickups height essentially) Pics: Next is the Aria pro 2 bass bridge. String spacing is 15mm, and says "made in japan" on the underside. Some minor pitting as you would expect for its age. Top mounted stringing with a quick release system for the strings. (edited with info received from musky) Pics: Lastly, is the gibson style 2 post bridge, with removable string longerer, and is height adjustable as well as being able to adjust the intonation via the saddles or the entire bridge. Hell, you can even adjust the string spacing. Slight pitting as normal for its age. Says"made in germany" on the underside. From this, and similar style guitar bridges, im guessing its a schaller bridge. Pics: Im always open to offers, trades, and p/x's.
