    you could sell the pickups on ebay at extortionate prices like others do and recoup some money for upgrades? Or just sell the pickups?

    You could have a go at making some wooden saddles to use, like a triangle out of some hardwood. Drill a hole through them so you could adjust intonation, and file them down to achieve height. Along this sort of line.

    There is a hint of treble lost though when fully open, for which the only way to get all the treble out is to install a tone bypass switch.

    that looks ace dude. I think if you keep the black binding, along with the f hole, itll end up looking like one of the fender coronado basses. Loving it.

    Hey chaps. I got this pedal in a part ex trade, but i'm just not using it, so ive decided to let someone out there who will. Looks exactly like that. It also has velcro on the base for pedal board attachment, or stick it to the side of your furry bass cab, as i have. So £50 posted, or picked up from new brighton, wirral for less.

    I think it was about 10 coats or so. And the can leads me to believe that it needs no finisher, but when i come to sand it smooth, we'll see.

    the spray was orange painters touch, and the sandpaper was about 160 grit.
