1. so hows this bass worked out for you then?
2. My acoustic bass is a bit sh*te, so i intend on replacing the bridge on it with one that i can adjust height and intonation. Now my thinking is that ill route some channels in a bit of wood, and stick some saddles in there. But my question is are there bass bridges out there for acoustic basses that act in the same way as a normal one?
3. So i have this clear tbird scratchplate that i got from alyctes when we traded basses, however, it doesn't fit the bass. So i'm putting it here for sale. But since he sent it after i had the bass, i don't feel too right keeping the money as he could have sold it just as easy, so all the proceeds will go to basschat. Now, i've done a little research on it, and it appears that i don't really know which model of the tbird its supposed to fit (unless alyctes can tell me), so if you buy it and it doesn't fit, you can return it for a full refund. So there's no worries at all. Here's a pic. Peace y'all
4. So here i have from our old practice room, two bass cabs. Here are the specs that i have determined: -175w 15" driver (seems to say 6 ohm) - Dimensions 75cm x 50cm x 40cm -wired in series (see picture) -thats about all really -a bit tatty looking -edges covered in sticky residue from removed duct tape Pictures: One of the cabs is missing the inputs on the back as it has been smashed off, so it would need rewiring and a new plate made. So ill let that one go for £20, and the working one for £30. Im always open to offers for trade etc. Id prefer pickup or meet, but can do postage at the buyers expense. Kay
5. could you send me a few pictures of the string retainer on the rear of the bass?

any soundclips?
12. traded basses with the chap. My sr300 for his blackbird. no problems whatsoever. Keeps you updated well.
13. ive got a vintage v96 (jazz) and it sounds immense. Nothing on it altered from stock. I was playing along to some songs from RHCP's "im with you" and i was surprised as to how almost identical it sounded to the songs.
14. it sort of depends, as there seem to be a few different 5 string fretless versions out there, with varying prices, and it would be best to know is it active? Humbucker pickups? through Neck?. I paid £250 for that doubleneck new, which i thought was pretty good. But for that amount, there are a few good basses you can get, of which there are more reviews about. It will probably sound pretty good, but i wouldn't pay £300. Id be more inclinded for about £200-250 if it played well.
15. I had a twin neck 5/7 string bass/guitar from them. IIRC (as it was a while ago now) it seemed pretty solid, decent sound. Pretty nice. cant say about fretless, but quality was pretty good. pic (only small)
16. Could you meet somewhere in skelmersdale? Im on the wirral
17. i wonder what keeps happening to the bodies to these necks. Ive seen a fair few tbird necks on here.....
