1. like the originals?
2. The singer in me band was using it, then it just died on her. Im completely unfamiliar with microphones and im wondering if some boffins may be able to help. Its an XLR output mic. Ive opened up the thing to take a look and these pictures are the result. There is a miniscule wire going from the microphone bit to the xlr piece that is broken. Im thinking that could be it, but how the hell do you reattach it if it is? And the 2 black wires dont even look like theyre soldered to anything. Ive included some pictures to aid in diagnosis cheers for any help chaps

4.
None of it is mahogany. Alder body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard.
I thought the body on these was maple? Or was yours the year that they went to alder?
5. Checked, I think it is a model one then. The measurements seem to be good.
6. thats the thing. It looks like it from above, but i cant find any other picture of one from below. Hence the second picture. Everyone likes the front.
7. I got this from the bay, and it looks very much like a neck willpower, but ive never seen the underside of one to check. Anyone know? No branding of any type on it. The cover has a slight satin finish to it too. PIcs:
8. trade maybe for an equally old schoolish bass? Epi EB3 long scale: http://trichards.co.uk/images/gallery/Current%20Basses/epieb3.PNG
9. Any interest in a trade with an epiphone EB3 long scale? this one http://trichards.co.uk/images/gallery/Current%20Basses/epieb3.PNG
10. i have one, and it sounds awesome.
11. So I was watching a video of the black keys perform lonely boy on Zane Lowe, when I saw the bassist using this unusual bass. Can anyone identify it? I got the pictures from the YouTube video if you want to try and see more of it.
12. ive now put some tobias 5er pups in, and i think it needs new strings.
13. yeah, for some reason, im not seeing that line. it just skips it out. Maybe something to do with the new selling update to the forum.
14. where about is that then?
15. would it be possible for you to desolder them, then check the resistance with a multimeter?
16. Ive had 2 sets of 5 string humbucker pickups. Tobias and another, and they were both split coil under the hood. Found out using a screw driver and seeing where the magnets were.
17. i think geddy lee of rush has done it with one of his old necks, hence the slimmer neck on his sig model. I think it takes sandpaper and time, but going too far could result in a bow that cant be fixed with a truss rod, but i dont know about a cost with a luthier doing it. it might be better finding a slimmer neck that can fit your bass.
18. its not that is a bit quieter, its a lot quieter. and doing this with 2 different sets of pickups (peavey standard and tobias) leads me to believe something else is amiss. When i find out, ill let ya'll know.
