1. Ive been looking for a celluloid scratchplate for my recently acquired 62 RI jazz. However, they all seem to be for the US/MEX models, and none say japanese. What is the difference between them?
2. Its the quo look though. And if the original parts fail, or are broken, its what you need to make it a gigging bass.
3. sounds pretty good, like a fat middle pickuped strat. Ill have to make a video of it.
4. It was a guitar humbucker i bought from China. I like the screw/slug look.
5. And this bass is now with its happy new owner, Via facebook sale group.
6. This one sold recently for around £740 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1971-Fender-Mustang-Bass-/132301516772?hash=item1ecdc8efe4:g:QNYAAOSwaMpZmZFB
7. i bought a 70's mustang last year for £750 i think. I traded that then for a grabber.
8.
Aah Haa - And that's lunch…. Great thread
I still love this pic
9. looks good, the colour is nice and looks convincingly aged. But yeah, thats a massive price for a mustang. Though i see a lot of 70's mustangs for sale for around £700, i dont see many from 1967
10. What's the price at now?
11. September bump. I'd accept £1000 cash as im currently after a jazz.
12. Thats the sort of book i was after. Ill get it and have a gander. Cheers.
13. whens the Mexi coming out? Since the Rush docu on netflix, ive had a hankering, especially since trying to learn YYz
14. Is there a site or a book, with a list of the various models fender have done throughout the years, and their place of manufacturer, colour options, hardware etc? Basically, say you have a natural body jazz with block pearl inlays on a rosewood board, made in japan, it could give a date it was made. A reference book of sorts. mainly out of curiosity.
15. haha, i just sent you a message via Ebay....
16. sweet/ ive been waiting for a video of that bass since i saw they got it in stock about 2 weeks ago. Though, i wasnt impressed with the rig he used to play it through. Too farty. Though it could be the bass.
17. Im not sure about a body shaped case, but i use the mono m80 soft/hard bag and it fits snugly. Been gigging a lot with it and its always protected the bass. However, i would love to see if i could find a case with the bodyshape.
18. Yes, both barts are for a 4 string. re the neck I think it fits the zodiac series, as i have one of those basses, and it looks like a match.
19. Good beginner guitar, or even a decent basis for a project as all the hardware is decent. Strung with some strings now. Any questions, dont hesitate to pm. PIcs:
