  1. Excellent buyer. No hassle at all to deal with. Straight forward the whole way.
  2. not a bad idea, and not too expensive. Id get the dremel sander bit and a tiny router bit
  3. A harley benton fiver?
  4. Fretless though. Otherwise id be in there.
  5. Well i wired nother bass up, and i was getting the same popping sound. I've rubbed the pickguard and metal parts with a microfiber cloth, to remove any static, and its had a noticeable effect. The pop is still there, but much much quieter. I may just need to shield the cavities too, but that'll be at a later date now.
  6. I thought the thunderbirds were slightly shorter scale, not 30 1/2 but like 33 or something.
  7. It did. There was a lacquer crack on the bass the buyer wasn't happy with.
  8. On my own, i can write easier as i know myself and i can flow. In the band, its hard to make myself heard, so i tend to just play generic crap. HAd a talk with the guitarist, and i think we're going to work on the issue. Theory used to be okay, on violin, about 15 years ago. Not much exists these days.
  9. @ikay, yeah, thats going straight to the bridge earth. And @meddle, thats also been suggested to me too. But ive had basses without shielding that have been popping free, so this confounds the matter for me.
