Hofner Contemporary Club bass. I bought this new a couple of years ago as a backup for my '60's Hofner, but as the old bass never let me down this one never left it's case! It's in absolutely perfect, un played condition with a beautifully flamed back and fitted Hofner case. There doesn't seem to be many of these around but they appear to go for around £550 new without a case, so I guess £350 cased will be a pretty good deal for someone... It sounds great and the only real sonic difference between this and the vintage version is that the new bass stays in tune!!!! I'm happy to post if need be (at buyers expense) but would also be happy to meet somewhere in the vicinity of London if that works. I'm selling my Epiphone JC bass. It's one of the earlier ones from around '04. generally good condition with just a couple of small knocks and a bit of thumb wear above the pickup and end of the neck. Freshly strung with Elites flats and sounding massive! Only selling as i tend to use my old gibson more these days. Includes original Epiphone hard case.
