UfoTofu,Flecktons (self titled),FlightOfTheCosmicHippo,3 flew I kinda dig there first handful of of disc's myself but i grew up listening to that stuff so i've lived with it for years & years Id suggest you go grab "Greatest Hits of the 20th Century" and expand into the albums from the tunes on that grab your ears

Hey guys Got to agree about the f***ing idiots talking and heckling at Bham, bad form im not sure what the "rain in blood/play us a moshing song" guy was on but he looked & sounded totally blasted (he wasnt to far back from me) & what was the guy shouting "get you tits out" durning the devils orchard thinking ffs!,im all for a little bit of sport with akerfeldt durning the breaks as hes the one that corts it and he seems to enjoy it as much as the crowd does, but durning dynamic parts of the songs plz just keep your mounts shut if you not singing along!,i myself told two teeny guys across from me to STFU twice durning the acoustic set,it was like they were in the playground pushing & whooping at each other morons....... Anyhows on to Opeth! what can i say Fantastic! highlights for me were Closure (it just seemed to keep on building and building),A Fair Judgement & Hex Omega, the acoustic set was pretty cool also (although TOW was a little boring seemed to drag on a bit) & sure i missed hearing some of the classic Opeth tunes like Blackwater Park,Bleak ect ect but that was then this is now,im cool with the new stuff and it grows on me the more i listen to it,you gotta respect them for playing from the heart not just milking there old sound to death like so many other bands have time and again as most ppl have said sound level was great no ringing come sunday morning and a great balance,i did think the kick was a bit to boomy but it seem ax likes it that way, bass could have done with being a little higher in the mix but then again as bassists we always think that i guess Pain of salvation were great aswell, there newer stuff seemed to come over much better live than on disc (i really hate the production on the last 2 cd's sounds like there recored in a garden shead imo)and i was chuffed that they played ashes and perfect element two of my fav POS tunes (would have loved to hear undertow from RL though) one the whole a great night wouldnt hesitate to see them again Cheers Gizmo

Well im off to see them on saturday cant wait! I missed seeing them on the Watershed tour with Cynic much to my disappointment (cynic being my 2nd fav metal/prog band next to opeth) Its Sad to hear that POS are only playing limited tunes from pre road salt albums,up to ScarSick i really loved what they were doing One Hour/PE/RL are 3 of my fave albums but most of SS & both road salt albums ready dont tick my boxes at all, were opeth have seemed to have progressed POS seem to have regressed I have to say that Heritage kinda threw me on the first listen,id heard the leak of Devils Orchard on you tube and kinda dug the 70's fusion vibe/tone of it but after a few listens of the whole album it bedded in,the 5.1 mix i found is much much better for getting of the dynamic/space the album has, still not sure what to make of track slither though(i know it a tip of the hat to RJD and is a little tongue in cheek)but i think they should have swapped it out with pyre and made sliter the bonus track (missing the 5.1 mix of prye for sliter is a bit of a loss IMO) btw i was one of the lucky/jammy first 500 DVD pre-orders with the "in prog we trust" coin and band signed booklet very nice I dig the Cookie/Death vocals of there earlyer stuff but i can take it or leave it im not one of those fans that seem to think they own the band and will throw a hissy because its not "METAL" enought Laters Steve
Hello! I have no use for this stuff so I'd like to pass it up to somebody who's going to use it... I have 7-8 bodies and 7 neck blanks (some flat, some with tilted headstock). Width is for 4 string (7-8cm). Various woods combos, for 4 and 5 strings. Some have routings and some not. Bargain prices, expecially if you get more than one. I could entertain trades with power amps, bass heads or combos. Drop me a line if you're interested, thanx.
Got any pic's or more info on wood combo's are they bolt on/setneck or neckthru lenght's ect ect I'll be starting a few new self custom builds in the spring so i might be interested Cheers Steve
Hi again, just tested extensively at all volumes, much to the annoyance of everybody in my house! I've heard no problems through the mid range, with every note sounding clear and consistent, in all of the settings. I tested it with a range of dynamics, and still no problematic noise issues. There's a certain amount of noise from the speakers, but this is only realistically audible <50mm distance from the speakers, and does not relate to the problem you describe, only to the limitations of the amplifier built in to the piano. The piano is working fine in all respects through the internal speakers, and is quite a lot louder than I first thought! It has not, to the best of my knowledge, needed or had any repair work done on it at all. I hope this answers your questions, you're more than welcome to come and have a bash yourself if you live locally. Anything else, don't hesitate to ask, I'll try to confirm or test anything you like (relating to the piano of course!). James.
Hey james thanks for that Just PM'ed ya

Hey James I had a word with my bro about this and he's pretty interested in this piano but is wondering if your sis has had the reported problem with a noise in mid range note through the builtin speakers has this unit shown signs or had this problem? if so has it had any warranty repair done to it? Cheers Steve
