1. Can't get enough of this! I know it probably doesn't quite fit with the core "basschat" ethos but it's such a great sound! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xo64Q2ucQ8
2. Quick shout out to the danelectro chili dog. Sounds good, looks like it would break if you sneezed on it but I haven't broken mine yet. Plus, it's a shocking colour! Goes well with my boss dc-3
3.
and on the subject of "Another One Bites The Dust"....
Indeed. Basslines don't get much more memorable than this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY0WxgSXdEE
4. You could try Cold Cathodes (which I have in my PC - look nice and doesn't interfere with anything). There's a chance that they might interfere with the audio signal but there's no way to tell until you give it a go. Another option is to try LED strips. Cheap, reliable, easy to install, run DC and low-voltage so a good chance at less EMI.
5. Hi all - trying to keep my pedal collection under control so I have to let one go. It's a Boss Bass Flanger, model BF-2b. Made in Japan, uses the ACA-type charger. Works perfectly. I'm normally in Newcastle / North-East England but am in Manchester for Easter. Can deliver or post. 6.
Not as long as you thought. Yes I do. I'll send you some pictures tomorrow.
7.
Just got one on Ebay for £17! The youtube clips on guitar dont sound overly great, but its worth a punt at that price!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vitFZulz8LM
8. Found a TU-50 last month so I'm now feeling rather smug - I'd recommend it! Especially as the tuner acts as a VU meter when it's not in "tune" mode... obbm, you still selling the second half-rack? Long shot I know...
9.
The boss mega distortion isn't too bad and can often be found for around £35- £40 secondhand.
Seconded, it's totally mental on bass and definately worth a laugh. Ebay often has them selling them for around £20 in fact - very under-rated pedal IMO.
10. Have an RPQ-10 that I sometimes use as a bass preamp - it's quite fun and gives a great tone! £30 from crack-converters...
11. Don't have any of the pedals for these boxes but do have some pedals which don't even have a cardboard box to like in - so I know how upsetting it can be for those of us with OCD-like tendencies. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Boss-Pedal-boxes-6-units-with-manuals-except-PSM5-/331021940897?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item4d1271f8a1
12. Bump - will include free shipping!
13.
Bump, anyone got a Boss PQ-3B for trades?! Si
I do - trade for what?
14. Hey everyone - got a tuner for sale. Was using this until I got a rackmount tuner Works perfectly well and, being a Boss, is indestructible. In excellent condition. Would consider a trade for a mike - see the "Wanted" thread.
15. Good luck selling it - after all that polava I hope you get a good deal!
16. If you're after cheap analogue Octave goodness you couldn't go wrong with a Danelectro Chili Dog. Tracks OK, reasonably sturdy and can be had for about £20 new if you know where to look.
