1.
My fairly small but effective board. Had so many pedals I'm just sticking to the basics now.
Twin ODB-3's? You mentalist
 2. Bought a Boss FT-2 pedal from him, would definately do business again!
 3. Might be a little voltage sag - pulling extra juice when the Hot Hand is used?
 4. Ibanez Cs-9 Chorus.
 5.
Buying s/h pedals off here has the advantage of "If you don't like it, sell it again" & there's usually no loss.
And Basschatters tend to look after their gear and are trustworthy, so the trading areas of this forum are worthwhile looking at.
 6.

Shiny! Loving the brown Boss goodness
 7. Bumpage - also have a Phaser on sale now! (really should have used this thread...)
 8. As it says in the title. Sounds great and is in good condition. Like most Boss modulation pedals, works well for bass as well as guitar. £45 posted.
 9.
On: Boss DM-3 & VB-2,
Woo-hoo!
 10.
Daisy chains aren't a good idea because they aren't isolated and can easily add noise and humming to your signal.
This is often true but not for all pedals - some don't mind being daisy-chained and make little noise, some do mind.
 11.
keep your eye on gumtree/ebay. The amount of second hand PA gear flying around is quite a lot and it's a buyers market.
This. Test before you buy if possible though.
 12. "Analog delay" at 42 seconds?
 13.
I'll be hurling Moogerfoogers so I don't fancy your chances!
Ya but they'd fall to bits when they hit someone. A Boss pedal would definately put someone's nose out of joint
 14.
how are you swtiching them from the floor? sperate swticher?
There's a jack socket at the back of lots of units like this where you whack in a piano sustain pedal to turn it on-off. Usually labelled "Defeat" or "Bypass". See manual: http://www.synthfool...ries_Manual.pdf Personally I use a Boss SE-50 for my reverb / chorus-reverb stuff. Remotely controllable on/off, have plugged in two other footswitches to toggle up and down the presets. Also does MIDI and is fully stereo. Sounds incredible. Got it last year for £35. Bargain
 15.
im guessing this can't be swtiched from the floor tho? andy
Yes it can I have a few different minirack effects for this reason. Does the job and usually cheaper...
 16. You can pick up an Alesis Microverb for about 15 - 20 quid on Ebay - it's mini-rack style but worth playing with..
 17.
Excuse my ignorance, but what does "blendable distortion mean"?
Mixing in the distorted sound with the original sound.
 18. Depends what sound you're after and what the other instruments are in the band you're playing in (if there is one). You can usually get a fuzz/dist/od to any sound you want - the real question is where it would "sit in the mix" - compared to the guitar, say. As mentioned - Jackhammer is good. I have a Boss MD-2 and a HM-2 for craaazy-heavy stuff. Still haven't found a mild overdrive that works well...
 19. Would get this at this price if I didn't already buy mine from a girl in Italy for 35 euros - and 25 euros shipping. Whoops! Bump
 20. Danelectro do a smaller-than-Boss octaver which sound grand.
