1. interested in this, but as above, where are you in the UK?
2. Depending where it is, I can throw a Matamp 6x10 into the mix
3. Had a trade with Geoff, and he is an absolute gent, and not a fan of chunky necks He was kind enough to do the travelling for the trade fitting around me being housebound with a little 'un, which was much appreciated! Cheers, Geoff!
4. After many years off letting anyone play through my gear, I think I've finally hit that point where I might not any more. As others have said, if my stuff gets bust, I can't afford to replace it, and why should I? If I can take care of it, surely they can? I've seen too many people just pull leads in or out without muting or standby etc. Had a cab blow once, but didn't find out till I got it home I feel like a @rse being that guy who says no though
5.
I must confess I got it for mate's rates
Ah, that changes things a little, I thought it was amazing at £160! Good score man!

7.
Happy to pass on some details on originals venues and promoters if that would help. Drop me a pm with the kind of music and I'll dig out some appropriate contact details.
That's great, thanks, PM on its way
8. Hey all, so I have landed in a new band - Not me on the pics or recording yet. Now I am looking to get as many gigs under their belt asap as possible, so wondered... Are any of you promoters for venues OR could pass me on some contacts that are decent people, all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks very much all x
9.
Gretsch do a 'baritone' that's actually a bass VI (six strings, 30" scale, tuned E-e), and by the sounds of it a bass VI is what you're after.
This. I've got one and the fact that its tuned E-e just kind of makes it make sense.
10. Absolutely stunning! Way out of my league though
11. Would also be interested in this if you have any luck!

14. For quite a few up in the house, combo of gigs I've been to, and gigs that jut had cool posters. Pretty much bought all of them from the Richard Goodall gallery in Manchester. Except for one Dismemberment Plan poster I nabbed off a wall from the gig I was at in Hollywood years back.
15. The one on gumtree wasn't a jazz shape mate, it was a P-shape with P and humbucker... Like the eBay one.

18.
Thanks guys , so the only one deffinately made in the UK is Orange ? crumbs that's sad
I think I sound like an echo of Mr. Foxen here, but I would swear by Matamp head and Barefaced cab. Both British, and in my opinion, both top of their class! As if by magic -
