Hey people, I've got a case for my ampeg PF500 made from one of those silver boxes you get from maplin and B&Q and the like but... I have seen a few people saying they have theirs in a padded laptop shoulder bag type thing, and would quite fancy that for portability etc. What type of bag does anyone use, or what size laptop bag would I need? Anyone help with pics or info of what they use please? Cheers

Anything that's over 6 or so pages I don't bother with any more. Worst ones are gear porn pages that run into their 100's... I wanna look at the shiny things but can't!

Dave [/quote] To me personally, any signature devalues a bass, as I don't want someone writing on my instrument, and if you actually use teh bass then chances are the signature you have paid for, will disappear!

Honest answer? Slightly less than I would pay for the same one with no signature.

I'd always rather my drummer to my left, so that if I turn to face them, I haven't completely blanked the crowd with my back to them (being right handed) if you see what I mean.

For £500 you could get some studio time and a producer, save the hassle, and hopefully be happy with the end product. If its a case of wanting to learn to record and try to make the band self sufficient though, I completely understand.
