1. And Lozz's has the screw holes I mentioned...
2.
In short - no. My '79 P bass had no such holes.
My '79 P bass has... with this one we are talking about, surely if it has the holes for the bridge cover (which it does) it should have holes for the pick up cover.
3.
Different serial
But another late '70s conveniently barely touched bass. It does leave a funny taste. I'm sure more expert opinions will come along.
4.
The price is not £675 its more like £675 +£120 +£50 =£845
Are you the same guy going on about it on Facebook too?
5. If everything is original as it states, shouldn't it have screw holes in the scratchplate for a thumb rest and pickup cover? Don't quote me on that, there's a lot of better people on here who could help out!
6. But the question is, what amp is it gassing for?
7.
I've bought 4 basses from Ishibashi (all from the Ubox)
Sorry if this is me being thick, but what is the Ubox?
8. Never thought giving away gig tickets would be such hard work!
9. Have a read of this thread - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/189756-fender-marcus-miller-jazz-mkii-made-in-mexico/page__hl__marcus%20miller
10. I was about to bid, then someone else bid, so I changed my max, then it did some red thing and then it ended! Nightmare! It's probably a sign, as I don't actually have the money to spare really.... still, I have a sad on.
11. I have a spare ticket and I would rather it go to a music fan rather than a tout, so a freebie to any of you people. Hundred Reasons, Hell is for Heroes and Cable - tomorrow @ Manchester Academy Lemme know.
12. Balls, I just missed that RD standard, something went wrong and my bid didn't go in I bid more than it went for as well! Booo...
13. One on the for sale forum here if I'm not mistaken?
14. Wanted one of these for ages but I reckon the problem with your sale is that neck damage
15. Stop hogging the Gibson RD's!
16. I'd just flog it to me Really though, wouldn't any messing with it devalue it, so I'd only do that if you were 100% that its a keeper!
17. If the lucky buyer doesn't want it, I'd butythe pickup cover off them for my '79
18. Is the ampeg afp2 in the pic for sale or gone? Ta.
19. I wanna buy a whammy this week, but which one is best with bass? Whammy users discuss!
20. Simwells, I have to thank you for seriously getting me into this band! Cheers for that
21.
SD SPB1
Another vote for this. Got one in my Precision and it sounds great!
22. Righty ho, so I did pop this up for sale for about 3 or so days not too long ago, but sold my Orange Terror instead, so withdrew this last time. Impending house move and not quite knowing where to put it, combined with not in a gigging band at the mo makes me think I should maybe move this beauty on to someone else... So, yeah, as you know, its a Matamp Green GT200 valve bass head and matching Matamp green 6x10 cab in what Jeff said was the last of his Green tolex when I bought it. It's all in great condition, not a mark on it. I look after my stuff, as anyone who has bought off me can hopefully tell you. Head is fully flightcased, custom made by Castle cases to snuggle it like it was a baby, and the cab has a Roqsolid cover with Green trim. I'll also include a replacement Green standard face plate as the current one is pretty personalised, with my forearm tattoos etched into it Cab Spec - 6 x 400w Neodymium Speakers total power handling of 2400w 8ohm (can apparently be made to go 2 ohms?) Birch Marine Ply Construction Infinate Baffle Speakon Connectors Metal grill Some pics - Sat on my Compact with the GT200 flightcase underneath In strange light on this next one, so colour looks funny So there it is... I'm after £1800 for everything (cost me over £2100 ) pick up only. I would consider splitting (but it would be such a shame!) ONLY if the cab went first. Chances are if the cab went, I would keep the head to be honest, as that's not so hard to store, and it sounds amazing. Cheers for reading
23. Wow, that really is a one in a lifetime bass! Very nice, and great that its still in such good condition!
24. Oh now that's nice!
25.
9:09 am today would be 24 hours, so I think I'm only off by half an hour or so from 36 hours aren't I ?
Which is why the 'wink' smiley, it was a joke, but things don't carry so well on this here internets.
