A used copy or a bootleg? How much was it? EDIT: ah, so Earache have finally re-issued it!! I bet Al is spitting over it!
Yeah Earache reissue for £16.50, and I did feel a pang of guilt knowing what a job Earache have done on them on this album... Still needed to buy it though.

This bass is not nomally the type of thing I would like at all, but it's actually really really nice! The purple is gorgeous. Congrats!

I cant stand Record Store Day. I understand why in theory it's a good idea, but it never works like that. It feels like it actually penalises the people who support their local Record shop all year round, as it makes it harder to get any of the releases you might want. Independent Record shops can't really not do it though, as I know that the takings on that day for my local shop last year were more than the rest of the year in total. I went in the day before and bought Sleep's Holy Mountain so I'm happy anyway.
I'm getting too old but I still love the crowds, drunks & drinks and the unpredictable stupidity that the bigger festivals supply in spades. Going to download again this year, Faith No More, Rise Against, Clutch, Slipknot and maybe a bit of Kiss or Motley Crue for good measure. Can't wait to see Faith No More again and in general last years download was as well run and organised as any festival I've been to.
Come see us and have a pint, first on the the 4th stage on Sunday

If I was you, start small then, maybe some badges and stickers? They are always cool, everyone loves badges and stickers Congrats on the support slot, what band is it with?

It all depends on your budget and what you want to get from it. I always found Awesome Merchandise to be a good site, great service, and they do a large variety of stuff.

Really cant decide whether for a backup, to snatch up a Bass Terror before they are gone, or go for one of these... Bass Terror has the weight and effects loop going in its favour... Help me decide!

Thomann selling Harley Benton basses as 'Decoration only'

The £21 SG turned up today. Absolutely perfect to look at, no marks or problems. Plug it in and its quiet with a low signal, and seriously noisy, sounds like an grounding thing... -
Darkglass B7K is used by a lot of metal bands

I mainly gig my '79 YOB precision, but I have no qualms about it, as it has been refinished, has a new bridge, new pickups, new scratch plate, so it's never going to be a collectors piece
Have a look at Abominable Electronics, they are about to bring out a deluxe version of their Rat based pedal!
In my ongoing love affair with Abominable Electronics, this came out today, and my order is in! This will be my 7th pedal from them when it arrives. Still yet to hear if anyone else on this board has given any of them a go?
Mine says 11th of November 2014, passed by "Jack". What does yours say?
Mine is "Jack" as well. -
Is that the S200? If so, it's a bolt on. The reviews are good, but I must admit to a personal prejudice that if I bought an SG guitar, I'd really want a set neck.
Yeah the S200, but for £21, I'm not fussy as I'm no guitarist If it turns up and is nasty, like really is decorative at best, I'll pass it over to my SG playing guitarist to smash up if he likes... -
Like I say, I've no idea if the OTB series is being ditched. Has there been any official word?
Not official word, but when I last emailed them and asked about one, the reply was - "Hi Si, Sadly, we have absolutely none left. The likelihood is that the ones you have seen are the last." So I guess without an official word, that's a yes, they are gone!

randomly saw a Black SG Deko for £21 this morning. Would be rude not to try it. -
Sorry for the delay Zac, the Barefaced Vintage is 2ft across, so 61cms by the looks of it. Hope that helps.

Really happy with mine for £40 or thereabouts depending on the exchange rate at the time! Madness! Edit: I notice as well as in mine, yours has a QC pass tag, so does that mean that these were perfectly fine, then they think something happened to them? Thomann baffle me... -

PJ5 turned up today, plays nice, no big visible problems that I can see, and sounds good! I found 1 very small scuff. Mental... What sort of things should I be looking for? -
Wooks, do you know what drivers are in the Matamp?
Sorry, absolutely no idea Alex. I think your Retro610 would be my absolute perfect cab, I just have no money
-
I dinnae mean that! I meant from each other. The matamp looks nice
The Matamp 610 I have is by far and away the nicest sounding cab I have used, but I tend to never gig it often due to the weight. It is SO heavy. I keep it in our practice room and use it every practice, and love the sound. It has its own sound that it adds to the amps. I find that the OBC115 is nice, but doesn't quite have the volume or the tone that I get from the 610, but if I didn't have them to put side by side I would be happy with it, as I wouldn't know any better. If anything, just a bit too little clarity for me and my settings. I tend to always gig the Barefaced Vintage 2x15 as it has a great sound, but more transparent than the 610, so have to change a bit to compensate. It's stupidly light to carry and easy to get around. If I had to rate them purely on sound alone, Matamp 610 would be top, as it does what I like. If I had to pick one to gig, its the Barefaced every single time, as I have to lug them around!
go on - give us a wee description of how those three cabs sound...
Too loud. Unnecessary!
