1. ...and it was an awesome experience! We got an opportunity to work with the excellent Leyland Band, as a nice little collaboration on one of our new songs, they scored a 20 piece brass section to accompany what we already had and it sounds great We got together on thursday in the old St. Peters church in Preston to do a recording and a performance together for a short video, and I have to say It was just so cool to hear the brass live and gave the song a massive feel (and it was massive to start with)! Sorry, this is kind of just a big chance to vent cos I'm still buzzing from the experience. I will post the video up here once its edited and back to us from the film crew. Here is a link to a bit in The Lancashire Evening Post about it - http://www.lep.co.uk/lifestyle/culture/ley...istry_1_3340897 HERE IS THE VIDEO -
2. Good luck with the gig, would come along if it wasn't for a damned long night shift. Anywhere online to hear your band?
3. Haha, I have the same with my two different 1x15's, its annoying isn't it!
4. I cant seem to find any online, and have been searching all over. My google skills seem to have failed me. Anybody?
5. I can see this getting snapped up, I would have if it had been silver grille clothed!
6. I want to make a new cloth cover for a cab, hoping to get a picture printed on some material, stretch it over a frame to size, and add some white piping to finish it off. Has anyone on here ever made their own cloth grille? Am I gonna be fighting a losing battle trying to make sure it isn't loose? Anyone know a UK place to buy this piping stuff? - http://www.mojotone.com/amp-parts/Piping Any tips or pics? Cheers!
7. If not already gone, I'll take it, pm me if it is available please mate cheers.
8. Yeah you have to name a price, and any silliness will be ignored
9. I wish I had the cabs to take it! It would probably turn my SVT-15e and B115e to sawdust within 5 mins! Shame.

15. Good to hear a happy(ish) ending to the story!
16. With the OTB you can choose to get the full output at 4 or 8 ohms so you have a greater choice, is there any other reason you want 4 ohms?
17. For me personally, this picture I found on the internet says it all, this is what I want in my living room -
18. Just been reminded that this also comes with a separate leather cover, from silverstone amp covers, vintage style, black with white piping, no silverstone logo badge. http://www.ampcovers.co.uk/ShowDetails.asp?id=1059 Cheers.
19. I knew of one place where an employee told me they often stripped the guitars of the extras like straps, leads and even gig bags and hard cases then flogged them separate for beer money! Terrible that
20.
Dagnamit, why don't you live in North Manchester?
Haha, do we all want 8x10's in Manchester at the mo?
21. I would have jumped at this if you were nearer! I'm on the look out for a nicely priced 8x10 or 6x10! Best of luck with it
22. If it has a maple fretboard I may be interested in the bass... Any pics?
23. Exactly, 52 members reading this thread as I type, and I bet none of them Want to be in the position Alex has been put in!
24.
I wish Bass Direct got more used stock in, as I am looking to buy a bass at the moment. However, in this case I'd probably suggest that the blame lies with Alex for failing to do the proper research within the time limits alloted by law or prior to purchase. This is me with my legal hat on. On the other hand, if I were in Alex's position I'd feel quite pissed off too.
That surprises me, as isn't this pretty much what musicground went to court for doing a lot of, but has just explained by someone (Alex) who has given the benefit of the doubt to the seller that they did not know that this was not what it said it was? In my opinion the buck stops with the store that misrepresents (knowingly or not) what is on sale.
