1. I've never played a GK 112, what are they similar to?
2. Any news on this little terror or the berg, it'd be a crying shame if the cn212 got buggered, i'd probably still buy it if it was damaged?
3. I would be really interested to hear what this sounds like, any clips and what pickups are they?
4. Any ideas on the pre-amp model so I can research it, I know next to nothing about active electronics...?
5. How heavy is it, scale weight? (I don't mind if it's heavy)
6. Urghhh... this is the exact opposite of what I need... PM'd
7.
I don't think so mate, send him a pm? Discreet has a beautiful p/tele bass made by him and lots of others have had him do stuff too
Cool, i've sent him a pm. Is he on here much? Does anyone have a contact number?
8.
Bassdoc?
Does he have a website, did a quick search but I didn't come up with anything?
9.
This chap has been used by a BC'er recently and was very good. http://grahamparkerluthier.com/ This is a Telecaster bass he built http://grahamparkerl...nts/gpl-basses/ Hope this helps. John
Called Graham today, seems like a good guy, thanks for the referral
10. I was hoping someone could recommend me a good UK luthier who could do this for me A 4 string maple telecaster shaped body in gloss black Heel cut for a status graphite p neck, using a 6 bolt neck plate Routing for two humuckers, compatible with the modern player pick-guard: Routing for active electronics and battery compartment String through body
11. Out of interest, is it a 35" scale?
12. I can't find this cab on their website, any chance of a link?
13. Interesting finish, if I can't hammer out a deal on another Jazz type bass i'm interested in... then I will certainly be in contact.
14. I've always wanted to try both short scale/acoustic... so I can kill two birds with one stone here. If you were to give a discount for keeping the gig bag/case, I would be willing to consider paying for a hardcase so you can ship this bass, what do you say?
15. If you have a buyer for the cab, i've always wanted to try one of these beasts.
16. How old is this cab and what generation is it?
17.
Hi Jay. Only just saw your post mate. Sorry I'm looking for a straight up sale. In need of the cash. Especially now I have a leaking workshop and my car just cost me 500 bucks :-( Open to serious cash offers ladies and gents. Don't make me flea bay this. Pleeeease!
PM'd
18. Is there an area of their website or do I have to email them Matt? Also where can I get a Glockenklang pre suitable for a jazz and this pup config?
19. I'm after a matched set, the same as the Sandberg Jm4: 1 x Delano JMVC 4FE/M2 1 x Delano MC4FE Is there anywhere that does them? Also could anyone recommend me a pre-amp to go with them?
20. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT BB415 5 string, I was going to buy this myself but i've been distracted by something guitarded
21. Nahh it's definitely the pickups, there is something wrong with them since there's not a huge difference between 0 and 10 on the tone pot. Could be the pot itself but I doubt it... I suppose I could change both but i've never done either before so it'd be a little adventure
I installed Wizards when I went down the same route, and they're still in my '87 ST which does the business in that respect.
Which model?
22. I'm new to sludge/down tempo/doom but a friend wants me to play in his band, I found my standard pups are mudding up quite easily with my custom fuzz pedal. So I was wondering what I should go for, something passive and mid heavy? I don't really want to go active unless it's a really good idea...
23. It's not a truly custom shape, I want a jazz body, a straight through neck with a p-bass profile?
