07847501946 This is very solid bass to hold and play. These were made from maple neck with alder wings and body; which makes wearing this bass a lot more balanced and comfortable then something this outrageous should be. It weighs 5.5kg. The final finish is a plasticky black paint somewhere that strikes a good balance between grip, depth and reflectance. Tuners are incredibly accurate and easy to handle. SOUND Clean, big, and compressed. Stable in volume and tone, deep and tight. Passive electronics on both necks. This string system uses normal strings. This is a great feature since you can use any string you like to really make this yours and you're not looking for double-ball strings all the time. Each neck has an on/off switch, when both are off it is silent, and you can have both necks on and play over yourself (e.g., ring a harmonic on one and play the other) without messing with your normal one-neck-on levels. But in that case be careful of resonnance of the wood. Or play with another guy on the two necks and make a show when you're live. COSMETICS This bass was used but not abused. Some minor dings and scatches but for a 30-year old instrument it's in really good shape. Sold with the special case as pictured. Controls are Volume Volume Tone. Four strap buttons in order to find a comfy way to play. Im offering this up at what i paid for it. I think they do vary quite a bit. According to google they should all be 18, but i work mine out to be 16mm

The guy i got it off said it was yours and mb1's !!

The neck is rather flat ( depth wise ) so i find the spacing rather comfy.

Hard to measure accurately but a according to t'internet all status 5 ers are 18mm apart from kingbasses. Hope it helps.
