1. I would love to hear your rendition of Fade to Black (I presume the Metallica song?). Especially with a harp player!
2. Why have I never heard of this band?! Groovy!
3.
Nathan Lamarr Watts
Fantastic bassline, great fun to play. Recently I've been playing/trying to play Bernadette by the Four Tops
4. I played violin when I was 5 but my teacher should never have been allowed to teach children, crotchety old hag. I gave it up because she was mean, which looking back was a shame because I might be quite good now. I picked up piano when I was about 14 odd, and played for about a year before my teacher retired from teaching. Started playing bass at 18, my brother was awesome and got me one for my 18th birthday, what a hero.
5. Merry christmas to everyone on here
6. This thread made for interesting reading, despite being months old!
7.
^ It's lines like that which put a smile on my big, stupid face :-)
I didn't notice that till you pointed it out! Hehehee
8. Welcome to the dark side
9. I was in Sweden a few weeks ago for a wedding. Beautiful country and lovely people. Welcome to the forum mate.
10. I have one of these and I'm very fond of it (see my avatar!), very versatile bass. Bump for you my friend! Your bass has a different input to mine though, mine's on the side of the body.
11. Haha you poor thing!
12. If I had that much money to spend on a second hand I'd probably go for a Warwick or a Stingray. I see you've said you don't like Warwicks though. What kind of music are you going to be playing on it?
13. I've never heard of anything like this before. Looks like fun. A bump for you!
14.
Whee, I got a mention!! XD
Welcome back!
15. I hate that kid! Seriously though, good on him.
16.
Is this still for purchase? I am from the old school of typing [and very fast] and just about to upgrade to one of these new fangled computor type approaches, The Caps Lock key needs to be fast and reliable - is this up to the job? Can it be used on its own? or do i need anything else? I have good feedback. Mr Norris Mcwhirter can testify to this. "Typing, Fastest. Mrs. Barbara Blackburn of Salem, Oregon can maintain 150 wpm for 50 min (37,500 key strokes) and attains a speed of 170 wpm using the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard (DSK) system. Her top speed was recorded at 212 wpm. Source: Norris McWhirter, ed. (1985), THE GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS, 23rd US edition, New York: Sterling Publishing Co., Inc" Barbara is a top bird! - Norris BB
I love you.
17. Initially the singer in my band was a bit iffy, but that was only because he needed practice and a bit of confidence. Now he is a fantastic frontman, he wobbles now and then (don't we all!) but give the guy a chance, you never know what he might turn into!
18.
It's cool, he kept us fed and watered, Feeling a little fragile from the lack of sunlight haha Heyy I'm still in 6th form cuz I took a year out before going to 6th form.. so I'm now in my last year.. Rawrrrrrr! I NEVER EVER EVER THOUGHT I'D BE ABLE TO GET BACK ON STAGE AGAIN, AND I BLOODY LOVED IT! Love and Stuff Zoe!
You're alive!! Nice to see you on here again
19. I like matt finishes, and being in a cheesy heavy metal band I am kinda drawn to this, but the batwings are a bit too much for me. Good luck though!
20. We sometimes turn off all the lights at practice. It's quite fun, stops me looking at the fretboard as much and it's also funny to sneak up behind the drummer.
21. Great programme! Addictive...
22. Argh I wish I could read music, this is such a great track..
