1.
How about putting it in the raffle at the Herts Bash if you're coming??
I didn't realise there's a chance of Jamba coming! With "The Door" too? That would be an honour!
2. Unless I sell it in the meantime I'll be bringing an Aria bass that's for sale. If I can find the instruction book I'll also have a Boss drum machine for sale too.
3. I'm in Southampton later this week. If anyone wants this brought back up to London area, then go for it. I can help out.
4. Hi Rob, if you've not done if already and don't have oil, I can bring some linseed oil to the Herts bass bash next weekend.
5. My thought would be to line the cavity with plastic to stop connections occasion the electronics coming into contact with the shielding. If won't stop the shielding working, bug it will prevent short-circuits from happening.
6. Cow bells or no; that is one gorgeous bass. The grain marking on the neck is one of the nicest I've seen. Someone PLEASE buy this bass!
7.
That is a nice looking bass Richard, now if it had cow bells and a maple board.....
Steady on old chap! THAT would never do!
8.
not as much as eejuts who dont look after their instruments then try and pass it off as 'cool mojo relicing' first against the wall when i rule the world
Please do help me; what is "cool mojo relicing" if it's not evidence of someone not looking after their bass? After all isn't "cool mojo relicing" faking what happens if you don't look after your bass? Edit: I once saw a "Roadworn" bass sold as "in mint condition, no dings or scrapes". Isn't that missing the point? I creased up.

10.
Another option is forget the screws and use double sided tape.
NoNails is good stuff too. (DO NOT try this at home!)
11. Slideshow of pics http://s1372.photobucket.com/user/constellation451/slideshow/F-Bass%20BNF5
12. Welcome to Basschat Azumi. Sorry to tell you, but your pics don't show on this page I can open them in another window, so I think you've probably done the link types wrong. The one you need is the "Direct" one not the "email" version
13. I just checked. All my PGs have 13 holes, I guess you've thought about the option of getting a 13 PG and drill 2 holes in the right places. Nothing else for it... Have you seen the Basschat Market Place?
14.
Can I ask, would the handle fit on the top side (not the side side) of the One10 cab? I have a plan of using a 16" x 12" drum case as a cover/carry bag for one of these cabs. Cheaper than the £50 BF want and probably more padded as well as easier to carry etc. It would be easier to remove the cab from the drum case if the handle was on the top. Although got to make sure the amp will clear the handle too. Cheers.
You mean like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=cajon+drum+case&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Acajon+drum+case It would fit, but I think you'd want one where the strap webbing goes down the sides and under the bottom. A One10 is light, but not a light as a cajon.
15. Hi there and welcome to Basschat. I have a number of spare Fender ish pickguards but I can't help you because I'm not that into Fender technical issues to know the difference. So maybe you could do well to help those who may otherwise be able to help you by adding a picture to this thread?
16.
You do not say which Westone you have but the preamp in the Thunder 1A is awesome. The Thunder 1 is the same bass but passive.
It could be a Westone Jet. I've got one. It's also a passive P. It's awesome too.
17. And Daniel will, of course, be following the future path of the bass to make sure that ALL future owners also declare that this is sold as a fake. As you would expect, naturally.
18.
Disclaimer: I'm not an believer in 'intellectual property', in any case.
Please be aware that IP includes all forms of design, art and development. So this includes music, art, software any designed products etc. An interesting viewpoint for a musician and software developer.
19. An Aria for £10. It has electrics problems, but a bargain all the same. Ebay item 182150924405
20. Just another thought here: Imagine for a moment that you were the owner of the company who made a Fender-like range of basses. Maybe you are John Shucker, for example (sorry John, your basses are better than Fender I'm sure). One night you go to a gig and see a bass You made there on stage. You're thrilled at the tone, the sublime sound, the colour the finishing and how it looks, except you notice something changed.. The owner has taken your name off the head and it's now advertising Fender! All YOUR work is now being used to make the biggest competitor look good! Even if the original supplier was Gear4Music or Rockburn surely credit should be given to the true maker? This still being so even if you have changed the bridge and pups: the style is,still theirs.
21.
No I did see that (hence the comment) so would seem Mr Hall has scared you, but seems he's not scary enough to worry eBay or the numerous Bass gear forums on Facebook?
Multiple million$ legal cases don't scare some sites. The owners of BC don't have such deep pockets. Or maybe you would like to talk to the owners of BC with your offer to insure the site against such action?
22.
As if by magic its flashier cousin just turned up: http://www.ebay.co.u...%3D142002565853 Anyone played one of these beauties? Anyone know what the nut width is?
Anyone know if this would have started out looking like this? My gut feel is it would have been painted and someone's been lucky in what they found when stripping it. But you never know. Moving on... anyone seen this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121998284001?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2661&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It looks nice. It ended yesterday with no bids and they've relisted for the same price. Is this a bargain? Any opinions?
23. As the title says I've got 2 strings from a set of Fender 0.24 - 0.84 250B6 strings left over from fitting to a 4 string bass. These are brand new and free to a good home. Can't think why anyone would want them, but maybe the'd fit a guitar or something? PM me if you're interested.
