SOLD

It might be just me but your pictures aren't showing up. Also, you dropped the price in your post, but not in the title. But if I were you I'd get the pictures issue sorted out before dropping the price. Fretless basses don't sell fast anyway. Glwts
2. Clive bought my Roland Cube. It was all very straightforward. Good communications. Would happily deal with him again. Thanks Clive!
3. Hi there, Here's a nice bass for someone. It's a Warwick Rockbass Corvette with MEC pickups and passive controls. The controls are Vol, Blend, NeckTone, BridgeTone. The weight is light to medium and it balances well on the strap; as you'd expect from any Warwick. The body is solid wood; probably Alder and the neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard. The frets are in great condition. The body has a few minor gigging dings. This comes all set up and with a Warwick Rockbag Gigbag and I can ship it by carrier if you'd like. If you want to come and try it out, you're welcome. The bass is in Bishops Stortford CM23 4DH. Grab yourself a bargain! 4.
Thank you BassBuss I need to get my finger out . I changed pics, but will put some more up;)
To answer the question in the title, "If this was four a string bass for sale it would be gone !" The answer, my dear friend Ray, is "No, not with those pics." But then you know this really. GLWTS
5. Woops!!! I got all excited, thinking this was a BASS combo... not for me I'm afraid. Sorry!
6. If you ever change your mind passive pups would be easier to move on, I would have thought. Buying passive also gives you more choice. Looking forward to hearing some good sound clips...
7.
Hmmmm, well, he did say that he wanted way more for the bass - i mean he'd said that it was valued by a bassist as £1500!! - no way Jose!
Hmmm.... you tempt me. Maybe I'll go round the BC market place and offer a few free valuations and see what happens.
8. Cool one CW. Many thanks. Knowing Dood had it and talking about it then I'm sure it was good. It sold for £450. This must, of course be considerably down to the previous ownership legacy, I don't wonder.
9. Thanks Douglas (Dad). You have a good point there. I, as a meer punter, have no idea what scripting has gone on in the background. It's also true to say there are things on BC that work better than on... er.... the other place.
10. Hi there, This is just another of those questions about if a Fender is real or fake. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161736328651?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Nice looking bass, but is it really likely to be a Fender if there's not serial number?
11. Hi there, I have a confession to make... I'm sorry. Truly sorry, but I've been to another bass forum. I know it's unforgivable. It's not as good as Basschat, of course. The user interface would indicate that they use the same software as BC, but they have a cool way that members can change their preferences for threads they follow. I've attached a picture of the screenshot. Can we have that here?
12.
Think its time for ebay :0) should get £350 !!!!
That is, of course, your prerogative. You've only had it up for sale here for something like 42 hours. FYI, if you use interparcel.com you can send a bass by UPS and it will cost you about £13-14 including insurance. So a carriage cost of £15 would also make it more attractive to buyers.
13. In truth I'm not being an are either. If this bass were to tick the right boxes I too could be persuaded. All the questions posted are asking for standard info that we all need to know before we're happy to send off £450+ of our hard earned in the expectation of getting a bass.
14. Not that I can afford to be interested at all, but what woods go to make this item of wonder? Also, what does it weigh? Just out of curiosity, of course.
15. Sir, that is a very, very rude looking bass. You should be ashamed of yourself. posting pictures like that on 'tinternet.
16. Sell the P and buy a Squier VM Fretless
17. Hey Gareth, the bass is great. many thanks. To help the mods to know which threads to lock, we edit the header and put "Sold" in the title. I'm sure they'd appreciate that, if you don't mind. Many thanks again Rich
18. Bump for a great bass. Head to head against mine I prefered this one (damn it ! ! ! ) .... Herts Bass Bash 2015
19. I use www.interparcel.com This sends by UPS and costs about £11 plus insurance. A £300 bass would cost about £13 to send insured.
20. Bass, bubblewrap and cardboard usually comes in at just under 7Kg when I send.
21. Non competition feedback: I use Elixir strings all the time. I mostly play Warwick basses and like the slighty "dirty" tone of the combination. Warwick are known for their "growl". Elixir gives a Warwick a perfect tone with the growl but meat behind it avoiding the zing that some strings give. Elixir feel great under the fingers. After playing strings for a couple of months I've had other folk say my strings sound old. I think they sound the same as they were when I fitted them. To me they're still giving me the sound I want. Not everyone wants a zing of the "steel just out of the packet" and Elixir delivers on this. Right now I'm looking forward to replacing the flats on my fretless and hearing the tone of Elixir on ebony.
22. Reply from Warwick: Thank you very much for your inquiry and it’s nice to hear from a member of our Warwick family! I have to inform you that unfortunately to supply our customers with a new neck – we need also an old one. To keep the originality of our instruments we can only make an exact replacement of those parts and it takes a place in our headquarters in Germany or in some cases it can be done by experienced luthier from one of our contracted dealers. If any further questions – please do not hesitate to ask, I’m here to serve with a helping hand Warwick GmbH & Co Music Equipment KG So, I guess they copy the serial number from the old neck to the new one.
